RS PET BOUTIQUE CAT BELL - LOUD CAT COLLAR BELL Pack of 2 (back)

Got 4 of these, 2 for each of our murderous little rats on top of the one already on their collars, as their kill rate was getting out of control, first it was mice, but I think they've decimated the local population, last year was voles, this year it been a mix of mice, voles, birds (from robins to pigeons) baby and adult rats, then it went too far when we found a decapitated squirrel and a mallard duckling. They still bring the odd animal back, but it's now once a fortnight if that instead of a few a day. The only downside is that is sounds like christmas every day as they sound a bit like sleigh bells, made even worse when they clean or scratch in unison. Still better than looking for whatever they brought in under the bed at 4am.

I purchased these bells for my lovely two cats. I got the cats, as after my old cat (who wasn't even a hunter) passed on, our house became infested with mice. As I don't like traps or poisons, I find just the presence/smell of a cat keeps the mice at bay with the occasional casualty!..As soon as the new cats arrived there was very rarely a mouse in sight... However because the cats are so pleased with their new house and owner, they show their gratitude by bringing me mice and birds from outside!.. lol.I tried a couple of collars with small bells on but they weren't loud enough to give the little creatures a chance to escape..Now with these new bigger louder bells I have had no little critters brought in from outside, the cats still get plenty of exercise, and a mouse free house!. Ideal ..Many thanks to all.. will be purchasing spares in case any collars get lost.!

I share my house with a murderer so decided to attach a bell to her to try to stop the 2 or 3 'presents' I was getting every day. It seems to have worked as I'm no longer getting live mice but it's done nothing to stop her bringing me things she's already killed. Have only attached one bell as she had an ID tag and the two work well together. It's not so loud as to disturb me but I can certainly hear her coming.

Since having the bells the gifts of dead animals have now stopped

Brought these for my dogs I have yorkies who have a habit of being under foot or in general in the way when I'm trying to walk. I can hear them anywhere in the house or the garden.We've always brought them bells as it's easier to find them when they're up to no good.

Not to my axpectations. Bell size is good, colour was good to begin with but after a week colour came off. No clasp so i bought myself. Bell is not sharp tone it's like a cow's bell. So am dissapointed

I have ordered several of these because our cat keeps losing her collar but had to replace the collar and bell as she is an avid hunter and the birds know where she is.

I put both bells on my cat and he now sounds like Rudolph. I'm happy to say that it has reduced his success rate of catching birds. He likes to bring them into the house to play with and they haven't always been dead. It doesn't seem to have made any difference to the number of mice that he brings in. I will be buying another set to put on a spare collar for when he loses this one. A happy owner, the cat's probably fed up.
