Just as promised, soft closing, stays up and it does not wobble. it was easy to install and it fits well. we have only the front stubs in contact with the porcelain, the two middle ones just are in the air, hopefully this will not cause it to break, but so far it does not seem to be a problem.UPDATE 2019:The hinge on the toilet seat broke during cleaning after a month or so of use. It was a bit of a process to get the warrantee replacement but ultimate Euroshowers sent one. Other than this, it has been a sturdy and comfortable seat.

This wc seat is far better than the one that Twyfords demand a premium price for, in terms of design, materials, and cleanability.Size wise it fitted the pan perfectly, and having four rubberised "pads" distributes the weight more evenly than the patent part from Twyfords.It comes with top and bottom fixing options, and as mine was a top fitted version, it's alway a concern whether the supplied fixings will actually work. At first sight the expanding plugs seemed too fat to slip into the blind holes in the toilet pan, but this needs to be a tight fit so I just screwed the bolt into the plugs and tapped them in using a rubber mallet, then removed the bolt to enable fitting of the seat. There's plenty of adjustment, however the two stainless steel posts the seat locks onto need to be perfectly vertical and parallel, and so I needed to shim the main fixings to get the posts in the correct position, and then seal with bead of mastic. This is a manufacture issue on the pan, not the Euroshower seat.I've just placed another order, if this is testament to my thoughts on the product.

Very happy with this toilet seat which we bought to replace a less substantial and ill-fitting plastic seat that came with our new loo. It is well constructed and is comfortable to sit on. The seat comes with two sets of fittings - top and bottom fixing - and was installed within minutes. I also like the quick-release mechanism which makes cleaning easier.

Had it a few days so long term use quality tbc.Very quick delivery. It took me longer to get the old seat off than fit this, I used the top fix fixings and it was very easy. The rubber on the bottom of the brackets which sit on the toilet are very rubbery and so sit tight (my old seat fixings had hard plastic bases which slipped constantly). Good weight, seems strong, it closes very slowly compared to my old seat and will stay open at a funny angle until prodded, maybe needs breaking in, but fine and quiet closure as expected.The quick release works fine for me, hold seat, click and release; easy to clean.

Sturdy construction fits perfectly ( I must have measured correctly ) excellent

We were happy with our designer toilet until we found out that a replacement seat was going to cost more than we paid for the whole thing 6yrs ago. Thankfully Home Store and Amazon came to our rescue with this brilliant seat that fits better than the original! The top fixing hinges worked perfectly but just in case some of you don't want an easy life it also came with normal under pan fixings too. The soft close works fine and is an essential if you have young kids, the release button is so simple to use and makes cleaning up the kids 'little sprinkles' a doddle. Some other reviews have made criticisms of this seat but don't worry either the manufacturer has improved the model or the reviewers were just pedants it's great and its cheap buy it!

Perfect replacement, feels sturdy enough but a bit worried about how long the top fixings will last as they're just plastic plugs, so far so good, but let's see!

Nice looking and so far robust seat. I am pleased with the product. The components provided to facilitate a top fitting were too loose. The plastic rawl plugs fit into the toilets holes easily enough but the bolts that screw into them do not tighten the fixing sufficiently. I got around the problem by using the rawl plugs and bolts from the old seat I removed. Also the new bolts had a small Phillips indentation at the end, which made tightening harder than my old fittings.
