Better than the old one

Sturdy and does what it needs to do.Would be better with a metal cap on the end, to protect it where you hit it with the hammer.

Very expensive compared to (much thinner) stakes for smaller poles. However, it held our 6m pole firmly, even with a large flag when the wind picked up.The stake is solid and quite heavy with a proper sharp spike on the end - it had punctured its way out of the packaging in the post! The top end split when I used a hammer to drive it into the ground - it could do with a metal or nylon ferrule. Next time I’ll ensure I use a scrap of wood to protect it.

It’s a stake. You whack it into the ground and it held a 7m flag pole up no problem. 👍

This is a large, hefty spike that makes a perfect support to which you can attach taller lightweight telescopic poles for whatever purpose. I use mine as the base support for a telescopic windsock pole that supports the end of a long wire antenna.Well built, sunk into the ground well after a beating with a lump hammer and the top didn’t actually deform when doing so either.

When my little pup was rushed to the vets last month after eating the gravel in our garden I knew I'd have to do something to stop the little hoover from eating them again- with one day to go before I set off on a 2 week holiday and left my baby with a friend, I had to find a way to corner off the gravel section- these poles were perfect! next day delivery- just in time - whacked them in the ground, nice and strong, lovely job! Shes now stone free and we could relax on our hols.
