Must admit I was really sceptical about this, but for the price thought I’d give it a go. It’s fab - really quick and easy to use and works brilliantly. Perfect pineapple rings, no juice wasted, no mess, and you can use the left behind pineapple shell as a vessel for pina colada cocktails or it’s great as an alternative to pumpkin carving at Halloween (it works on watermelon too). A quick rinse under the tap and it’s good to go again. Would definitely recommend.

I was sceptical that this would work, especially as it was so reasonably priced. It was so easy to use, just slice the crown off and away you go. You need to apply a bit of pressure as you turn but it's brilliant. The promise of not losing much of the juice held true too. Great product, and you can put it all in the dishwasher- what's not to like?

The handle has to be detached to remove the pineapple, but the plastic fittings don't feel like they'll be particularly durable. Goes through the dishwasher without suffering any harm.

Buy it if you love pineapples. It’s so easy to use. You literally get the cut like the pineapple rings you see in the tins. It’s clean and simple, wish I’d seen this years ago. Takes out the pineapple eyes and stalk in the middle without wasting any of the edible fruit. You won’t be disappointed!

My daughter does a fruity Friday for the children in her daughters school, she says this is the best help for cutting tbe pineapples, very pleased.

Great gadget, take care when holding the outside of the pineapple as the blade is very sharp and sometimes comes through lower part of pineapple as you get closer to the base. Easy to use with a little muscle. Handle could be a little sturdier. Recommend for easy pineapple prep and minimal waste.

What a great kitchen gadget! This makes coring and slicing a pineapple the work of just a few moments.Simply cut off the crown of the pineapple, line up the centre of the gadget with the core, apply slight pressure and rotate clockwise to 'screw' the blade into the pineapple. By the time you reach the bottom of the fruit, you'll have one long, continuous spiral of cored pineapple, ready to snip into neat slices around 1cm in thickness.I used this in making a pineapple upside-down cake and it worked very well indeed. Cleaning is very easy and the tool seems sturdy, with a good, comfortable grip.

the handle doesn't fit well, large gaps between the parts and makes it bit hard to clean as the pieces of the fruit gets struck in those gaps. It works fine, but feels delicate and not sure how long it will work.
