Brilliant film

Over the Hedge [DVD] is a hilarious and witty animated film that had my family in stitches. The story of woodland critters discovering the world beyond their hedge is filled with clever humor and lovable characters. A great choice for a laughter-filled movie night!

A hilarious caper with animals who wake up from hybernation to find their world has suddenly become much smaller. Suburbia has expandedand the animals feel at a loss and frightened, until the arrival of a scheming racoon who makes them believe the grass really IS greener on the other side of the hedge.T he racoon soon learns that the values of love , friendship and trust, that the other animals hold dear are worth fighting foragainst verminator and the crazed house owner determined not to let the property prices fall because of the "pests".

This was a weird one! I was expecting a more 'post crusades' action adventure, but before you know it your in the far east and Cage is a kind of Chinese 'Robin Hood'.All told though, a ripping yarn and worth the admission fee.

This is a very nice film centred around a happy go lucky racoon, and a group of innocent, hardworking forest animals emerging from hibernation. It's funny, and it's sentimental at the end, so it's an absolute winner which is more than suitable for very young children. There is no risque content and there a few moral lessons that emerge from the story. With the DVD you also get numerous printables (that's got to please youngsters) and web links for additional fun. A very good value for money, item.

How could some rate this as 3 and mostly 4. It's a big 5 and I will watch this again. There is loads of great well choreographed and realistic action. It gives the impression of hundreds of extras throughout rather in the same ilk as kingdom of heaven. Cinematography very good. A very good find and I am pleased I have this in my collection for several more viewings. I was glued throughout and thoroughly enjoyed it. Buy it and enjoy

Delighted with product. Had never heard of the film, then I read a reference to it in my Sunday School lesson book. I knew it would be difficult to find in the shops but as usual Amazon came up trumps. The DVD is a present but I am sure it will be well received. The item arrived promptly and in good condition.

Not quite up there with the best - but good enough to keep kids and most adults happy for 90 minutes.

I have purchased several DVD's on Amazon.com and have never come across one distributed in the USA that said, WRONG REGION. I had no idea I had to look for what REGION the DVD was able to be played, especially when purchased from North Carolina.Lesson learned.

Very disappointed couldn’t even watch the movie showed a error code would not recommend any one buying this movie

DVD was defective. It would try to load and then bring up a disk error and eject itself. We tried it in multiple DVD players.

Will not play in most US dvd players.

I wasnt able to watch this movie I purchessed, because I bought the wrong one so it wouldn't play in my dvd/blueray player.
