Quality product.
This product comes in a very good quality box which is a shame to throw away, as well as a real leather scabbard. The file itself is the perfect length for my needs. It is slightly flexible yet strong enough, I would guess, for tough nails. One side is rougher that the other which is perfect for finishing off shaping. I am delighted with it. Never again will I have to buy one of the plastic or cardboard types that wear down much too quickly.

Too small
This is well presented but for me a little too small. It is very sharp at the edges and it did cut my toe so you need to be careful.

Now, this is a file!!
I work with my hands as a master metalsmith. I am always disappointed in nail files. My girlfriend says I file my nails like I'm filing on a project. And she's right, I always end up using a file off my workbench. But they're just not quite the right proportions. When I saw this listed under nail files I wanted to try it. There are no particles that eventually wear off, no disposable stiff paper files that quickly wear out, no lightweight metal that flexes and bends, and it doesn’t curve to a point. I don't want that. Just a miniature, parallel sided hand file that does the job. And wow, this is a file! It's a stiff, precision cut, true metal file that takes the nail down quite fast and cleanly. You have to try it!
