Brilliant range of colours
I got the Johanna Basford set of 36 colours as this worked out the best value at the time of purchase. I'm currently colouring in Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom which I love doing. Although I use both colouring pencils and pens, I prefer to use pens most of the time - I have some chunky ones from Crayola and some medium tip pens also from Staedtler (the other items I've got from them are also good quality) - so I wanted some fine tip pens to colour in the smaller parts. For this they do the job very well. If you were to use them for the whole page it would probably take quite some time and I don't think the results would be that great, so I'd recommend using these alongside some medium tip pens.Although I haven't use them for such these pens seem they would be good for writing or sketching. The range of colours (as you'd expect in a pack of 36) is great, nice and varied with strong colours - the only thing this set is missing is some metallics! Overall I'd recommend these fineliners.

Very comfortable to use
I was given an adult colouring book for Christmas and wanted to get some suitable pens to use. I have a lot of pens but they are either alcohol pens (which bleed through pages) or felt pens which are too wet. I chose these as they were advertised as for colouring books (and my Mum has done by staedtler which she used for colouring books). The reason I went for these as well was due to their triangular design which makes colouring more comfortable for me as I have muscular dystrophy and get aching hands from regular pens and pencils if using for a long time. These work so well and I'm so glad I purchased them. They are definitely worth the price. Due to the fine tips I don't use them to colour large areas (or background or areas bigger than 1 inch square) instead I use the matching pencils.

Really nice pens to draw with
These are comfortable to hold and the range of colours is more than adequate for most purposes. Note though that the large set doesn't come in a neat plastic case like the smaller sets, just a rather flimsy cardboard box, so for younger children the smaller sets are probably a better idea unless you purchase a suitable pencil case or something to put them all into.Otherwise I really like these pens for technical drawing/drafting and general precision work, though obviously they're not suited for filling areas with colour or anything like that, due to the very fine tip.

Superfine
Recently got Millie Marotta's Tropical Wondderland as a gift but unfortunately the pens I got with the gift bled through the paper. These Staedtler pens don't. Good choice of colours. Only reason is why I haven't given them 5 stars is because I haven't had them long enough to see how long they last!

Great pens!
I love these so much! They are great for writing in my diary and colouring in due to their vibrant colours. They do not bleed through the page unless you press really hard or go over one area a lot, which is handy if you are writing in a planner or diary with them. Only downside is that some of the colours look extremely similar with only a tiny difference if you look carefully, though that isn't a problem for me.

it turns out a certain supermarket is very good and luring you into buying them
I have always bought stabilo fineliners. Hang on, lets rewrite the last sentence. We (meaning all my immediate family and friends) have always chosen to buy stabilo, time and time again. Why you might ask? Well...it turns out a certain supermarket is very good and luring you into buying them. Previously I had bought Staedtler fibre pens, so I thought why not give the fineliners a go! They are brilliant, these are very very fine compared to the stabilo pens-which makes them perfect for doodling intricate details. You can use them for notes, but the best usage I think is for illustrations. I wish there was an extended colour range. I would love to seen more shades of pinks and more green/blues!I allowed my class of 5/6 year old girls to use these pens, they held up very well to the pressure. They were all returned in usable order which I found quite amazing- I would say little children find them harder to use then say a felt tip, so I would not buy any fineliners for children- they tend to try to use the side of the nib.
