My original cable was wearing and starting to split.I was a little worried as this not being an apple product. No need to worry as it works absolutely fine charging as normal.

The charger works great and at a very different price to that you would pay for the Apple item. The only negative is that I would have liked a longer lead. I have read other reviews where some mentioned a reliability issue over time but the product's build quality gives me confidence.One important check is that it is the Magsafe connector that fits your Mac. This is Magsafe 2 (using it with a 2015 Macbook Pro a1502).

Very great product, saved a lot of money than buying an apple one and charges as quick

Started working fine even though the unit got very hot. then began to work intermittently until today when after it began to crackle, it stopped working altogether.

Very happy with this charger. As good as original Apple one but way cheaper. I recommend.

This was bought to replace the real Apple item that my wife left behind after a weekend away. It seems to work fine, and much lower price than genuine Apple part. It correctly connects as a mag-safe connection should. Only 3 stars for durability as it's only been in use for a month or so. Note that it has no mains cable, so plugs straight into the mains socket, unlike the genuine item, so might be restrictive in some places. This wasn't a problem for us, as the mains socket is close enough, but might be relevant to some people. Even now we have the real one back, my wife still uses this item day to day.
