He messed up badly and my hair ended up being very orange and definitely not what I wanted. I was so upset I had spent so much money and tried all purple shampoos available in the shops, they did not work and only took out some of the yellow tones.I came across this because I looked up that blue counteracted orange tones better, and decided I had nothing to lose. It has literally saved my hair and now I love it so there is a silver lining. After the first 3 uses there was absolutely no orange and now after about 2 months use I am still ashy brown with some cool blonde stripes (yep he really messed up) but I love it. I will probably buy a couple more bottles of this to be on the safe side and keep the orange at bay. Friend has dark hair and dyes it blond and got orangey tones. It did help.
