Mechanic - Resurrection [Blu-ray]

A great sequel
I am a big fan of Jason Statham and loved the Mechanic so came into this film hoping for something good and I am pleased to say this really didn't disappoint. The return of Arthur Bishop sees him having retreated to a nice and quiet lifestyle in Rio but after someone who knows his past finds him his life is turned upside down and the action ramps up to what we have come to expect of Jason Statham movies. This film for me actually trumps the original offering and Jessica Alba played her role to perfection. This is one of those films for me that is sold short but is well worth checking out.

I knew it would be hard to follow up from the first movie as it was fantastic however i gave this one a chance and i was very disappointed, i knew after the first 5 minutes (spoiler) when he jumped off the sky lift onto someone below paragliding it was going to be bad :(. The bad guy in the movie was weak and to be honest it actually felt like i was watching another bad transporter movie, the script was poor and it didn't give me much hope that it was going to improve. I gave this two stars because of the swimming pool kill which was quite cleverly put together, so if your a fan of the first one give this one a miss.

Good all round action flick
Just relax, put your feet up and sink a few beers. Admire the beautiful Stath and Alba in an action flick that ticked all the boxes for me.Some of the locations look really amazing and the stunts are brilliant. Don't worry about the plot too much...

digital copy out of date 12/18
Great film, love Statham, just very disappointed that the digital copy ran out in 2018, but there was no mention of this before sale. Picture showed it included a copy.

Fixed it for me
Frist class film Statham at his best, and a very good plot, ok not the original Mechanic but hey ho move on and get a life people Bronson was good in his day, but I think Statham is better in this role

Great stand alone film
Great stand alone film. Jason Statham reprises his assins role from the Mecanic. Now retired, he is forced back to work to make 3 more kills to save the life of an innocent lady friend. Great make believe, nice way to spend a couple of hours.
