Water Distiller Copper Lid Pot Still (5 gallon)

We ordered this product to distill water . Over all it’s easy to use for water. Ofcourse it would be better if the cooler was larger but I think the concept is for the product yo be used indoors so they probably want yo save you space. . We used ice in the cooler the attachment for the water flow didn’t fit our faucet so we improvised with a drink dispenser and gravity fed the cooler. It’s not something we could walk away from for more than 5 minutes . We plan on experimenting more this summer with outdoors and the hose. Hoping yo make my own essential oils one day aswell

The product was were well packed. It we’ll work perfectly no dents.

I like the kettle but i redid all the 3/8" copper to 1" down to 1/2" at the cooler and i went to a 5 gal bucket for the cooler. The other was a bit to small for me. I like a larger cooler. But thats just me. All in all i like the still for the price but you get what you pay for. I brought it mainly because of the still pot. I like the copper dome lid.

First off, the directions are terrible, the photos look like they were printed in 1980, blurry and unclear, the hoses are right next to each other in the picture so you don’t know what goes where, that’s really dumb. The video seems backwards from the directions ‘water in, and out’ top or bottom? It’s unclear. Also the tubes aren’t long enough to reach the sink from the stove, apparently you gotta hook up to the tap to cool the spiral copper, but hopefully your stove is next to the sink or you’re buying butane burners as well and doing it there.Pretty disappointed after assembling it. I’ll probably send it back. Just really needed this to work asap.

Real good product for making small batches or experiment with new recipes I really like it I don't always want to make 20 gallon of mash so these small batches are nice especially when you're experiment with recipes

Came used and damaged. Also as a lot of other reviewers mentioned, there are no instructions on usage. There is a single 10 page booklet and on the outside it is titled: Installation Diagram. There are no diagrams inside. There are no diagram anywhere. The booklet is nothing but poor printed questionable recipes for various alcoholic concoctions. It's one of those products that doesn't deserve even a single star.

First run was salt water to test the process done on the stove. You can see the burn marks have a symmetry matching my stove top supports. Some sort of marking occurs or coating was removed from basic use . I suppose it may not affect the final distilled product as it’s the steam that is collected but where did it go if it’s a coating ?Just a nickels worth more quality would make this system a real bargain. I wouldn’t cook food with it because of this. It may affect the taste of whatever mash you boil in it.

The copper lid had small dents all over it but didn't change the way it works. It doesnt leak between the pot and copper head because it has a really nice silicone seal that is easy to put on and take off and clean. The whole thing has been really easy to clean. I was worried the thermometer wouldn't work but it seems to be really accurate. Good product for the money.
