Yacht Varnish Gloss 250ml

Have used this varnish before, and it works well for me. Lovely satin finish. Do what they say on the tin i.e. thin it 20% for the first coat on new wood. In fact, I thin it for all the coats, and it goes far. It will dry in 24 hours, but leave it longer to properly harden, say, several days in warm weather. I usually walk away from it for a week before putting stuff on the surface. I've never sprayed with it, but I bet it would achieve an even better finish than by brush (which still looks good). I paid about £11 for a 500ml tin on Amazon, which I think is good value.

Easy to use and covers well

Used this on wood surround for back gate as such alot of rain needed to be protected. It went on easily with brush, but remained tacky for ages. So didn't bolt gate just put heavy stuff against door, so slightly ajar. Dried properly late evening. So took about 10 hrs to dry. Only had to use one thin coat so good coverage.

A really good quality product

This is great stuff. I coat all my outdoor garden ornaments with it and it really helps preserve them. Especially through the winter. Plus gives things a nice shine..

Bel aspect fini, sur la longévité je ne peux dire n'ayant que 4 mois de recul...Merci.

Pour ma part ça ne sèche pas. Quelque soit la surface (dégraissée, nettoyée) carbone, bois ...Dommage ça me semblait être un vernis bien épais et résistant.

bonsoir,j'ai reçu 2 pots de 250 ml ce qui n'était pas ma commande puisque j'avais commandé 1 pot de 500 ml. que j'aurais préféré recevoir .Par ailleurs, et concernant toutes les indications imprimées sur le pot : j'ai une très bonne vue 10/10 mais celui qui arrive à décrypter les textes sans une loupe, et bien il n'est pas encore Né !!!!!!!!!!! pas un bompoint en matière de marketing !!!!!!Bien à vousGuy Fouglé
