ATTIS Liquid Castile Soap - unscented - 100ml - Olive Oil content min 50% - Handmade

This is one of the only REAL Castile soap products that I have found. Castile soap should be made using olive oil - if it is true to the original product, first produced in Spain using good quality olive oil. It seems lots of companies are throwing any old combination of oils in and calling it 'Castile Soap'. This is real (mostly olive oil), good quality and you may have noticed that you do get less for your money than other brands masquerading as Castile soap, but the quality is excellent and you can blend it using carrier oils and water it down (using distilled water) and make smaller quantities of bottled blends. Neat Castile Soap can also be a bit harsh on the skin. So a little goes a long way, fragrance it yourself using essential oils of your choice, and you will have your own Natural body/skin wash with NO nasty chemicals!I usually mix this in 3 parts. A third Castile Soap, a third carrier oil (sweet almond/ jojoba e.t.c), a third distilled or organic rose water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil - lemongrass and rosemary are a great combination for a refreshing zing. Remember if you do add distilled or rosewater, just make smaller quantities of the mix more regularly as anything with water and no chemical stabiliser will go off fairly quickly. So, easy answer: make smaller batches, more frequently and you can store if the fridge if you want. Enjoy mixing - once you have the base and essential oils, you'll get used to experimenting and you won't want to go back to bad products that your skin absorbs. My skin is really soft and in great condition now and I feel I'm really taking care of it....The reason I only gave this product 4 stars was that it wasn't available to buy in larger quantities...
