PRINKNASH ABBEY Church Resin Incense 25gm-100gm PORTIONS - Vatican Blend (25gms)

This incense smells like musty old churches, but I quite like it as a change from the usual floral scents. I burn my incense in an oil burner but instead of using water I use ordinary cooking oil. This way there is no smoke and the fragrance lasts for hours. With charcoal you get a lot of smoke and the fragrance is gone in a very short time. If you prefer to burn charcoal you get a better result if you fill the dip in the top of the charcoal disc with table salt and place the incense on the salt instead of directly on the charcoal. The smoke is less and you don't get that unpleasant overburn smell.

Sour smelling and smokes badly. Not sure this is genuine Prinknash Abbey. Smells like something burning in an old mechanics' yard, as opposed to a church!
