Works well.
I used this last year over a red ants nest where I sit in the garden. As I watched, not only did the red ants take it in but black ants also came, some brown flies and a couple of spiders also. It did not appear to work at first but a month later the nest was definitely gone. Now I don't want to get rid of all the bugs in the garden or even all of the ants so I will be very careful as to how I use it. I obviously don't know what happened to the flies (but no loss there) or the spiders (which I don't mind, although we do seem to have a great abundance of them so won't miss one or two), but as far as I can see, this product definitely works. We think it is good value for money. The cap is a bit flimsy and the granules have quite a strong chemical smell so I have left mine in the bag they came in (which successfully keeps the smell at bay).

Very Effective.
I had a number of ant nests in my back garden and had used the round black bait stations with a fair degree of success.I thought I would give these granules a try, sprinkling some around each nest. Within 3 days there were no signs of ants anywhere even though there was a rain shower on the second day.I have found the granules to be very effective and would recommend the product highly.

Not quite the ticket.
Although easy to use and apply it just doesn't seem to eradicate the ants sadly

Home Defence Ant Stop! Granules
Just too expensive for me - !I have a lot of ants in my lawn - the effect is a bit like small mole hills. Tried this but as I hae 300 sq yds for the blighters to dig in -this is not good value for me, If you have a small lawn it will work ok as you should be able to get to all the nests. But I kill one and a week later up pops another - looks like the white unsightly but cheaper ant powder from Aldi will be the way forward again ( £1.79 for 400g )

quality is great
You need the white granules not the pink ones as they stain your footpaths or patios , the white ones come in a taller container not the smaller one , be carefull which one you order

Stops Ants - Literally Dead!
Bought this as I had a big ant problem around my front door - this was only going to get worse, especially when the ants became winged. Sprinkled a small pile of this stuff (looks like sugar granules) where the activity was greatest and next day - no ants! I have tried various products over the years but this is the first one that has worked 100% first time - very impressed!

AntsGo Home Welcome! Granules
This insecticide, claims 100% efficacy and destruction of Ants & their nests (mounds). Having read and researched, extensively for effective Ant repellants. Especially the notorious Meadow Ants yellow/orange colour (Pyramid builders) & their accomplices Red Ants which attacks if disturbed. I was assured, that this product, is specifically made to eradicate these native species. What assured me, the scientifically proven ingredients ( Spinosad). A naturally occurring soil bacteria, with a high insecticidal efficacy. My first application, was to drench&scatter the granules on all of the huge mounds, according to the label. allowing several days, before assessment. I was curious, to probe the nests a little deeper! LO and behold, the entire colony survived the drenching and burrowed deeper! Due to higher surface soil temp, Ants tend to dig deeper. What a disappointment. It's another commercial marketing claim, to lure the customer into buying such ineffective product.

Verry effective indeed.
This stuff really works. I keep a solution in a pump-up type garden spray and squirt a jet into the space between the bottom of the wall of the house and the surrounding concrete at regular intervals before and during the spring to late summer. Using well known "outside disinfectant" we used to get several ants in the kitchen, a characteristic smell and stained brickwork. last summer - one ant. However a word of caution, when handling the powder (weighing it?) do be careful not to breath in any of the dust. Keep upwind and perhaps were a dust mask..
