I have changed to cat7 after my old outdoor cat5 has not been working properly, it's perfect and good product I saw the difference when I watched my outdoor camras

I've picked up a couple of improbably long cables - this one even comes in a 328 ft version which is the official maximum length for an Ethernet run. But sometimes when you need to connect between rooms, or run a line out into the yard, the stack of 10 foot cables in the cabinet just won't do.This cable will handle 10gbe when I upgrade my remote switches, but it does 1gbe without a hiccup. Running from a powerline adapter at the front of the house to the laser printer at the back of the house was no challenge for this cable. Very happy with it, and I'm tempted to get the 100m/328ft version if it goes on sale, just for the absurdity of it.

I read that Cat7 was supposed to support up to 10Gbps speeds where my old Cat5e only went to 1000Mbps, so I swapped this to this one because I have 2Gbps internet. I only see 900Mbps with this cable, which is what I was seeing with the Cat5e. Of course, this COULD because of my ISP...but I don't really have any other ways to test it. I'm hoping to see some improvement as time goes...but as of right now, it's performing almost identically to my Cat5e cable. I've called techs out from my ISP and they have tested everything and replaced everything, but I still only haven't seen speeds over 980Mbps. I gave the cable a 4star rating because the seems to be decent quality but with a $40 price tag, I would expect to see improvement.

This cable is horrible for performance. Does not get you the speeds you should be getting. It’s not even able to get 10mb on my switch. I cut a few feet off the cable thinking I messed up crimping and terminating the ends since it’s been a while I’ve done this. The copper wires break apart so easy. I went so slow to remove the shielding. But after triple checking everything. It’s a horrible constructed cable. I would not recommend. I wish I started this part of my projector sooner instead of wasting my money. This cable is a joke. Don’t buy it.

Performance is nowhere near what it should be for a CAT 7 cable. I ran around 150 feet of this in my attic and terminated both ends with CAT 7 shielded connectors and was only able to get 80 - 90 Megabits/second over the cable. I thought maybe the cable was too long or damaged somehow so I made a 10-foot cable, plugged it into my router, and still only got around 80 - 90 Megabits/second. This cable is a complete scam, DO NOT BUY THIS. Its probably a Cat 5 cable made to look like Cat 7. I went to Lowes and got 500 feet of Cat 6 cable instead for $20 less than what I paid for this and was able to get Gigabit speeds over my 150-foot run.

. The wire gauge of the pairs is 25 or 26 gauge, not 22 gauge so Cat 7 connectors will not work.The cable is wrapped in mylar, as are the pairs, but they will not fit into a Cat 7 connector. I got them to function using Cat 6 connectors but then they are not grounded properly.Nice Rip off.

I found this Cat 7 Shielded Ethernet LAN Cable 65FT to be well made, a quality Cat 7 cable.My first use for this Cat 7 Cable saved me from having to unmount and remount several Security Cameras during a HomeBase Upgrade. Plugging into the HomeBase Port using a PoE splitter, then plugging the Cat 7 Cable into a Port on my PoE Network Switch, I was able to take the upgraded HomeBase to each Security Camera and Re-Add the Camera while the Cameras remained in place.My next project will be running this Cat 7 cable from the equipment area in the back of our home to the front to mount a PoE Security Camera over the Garage door. From my previous project, I already know that this cable can carry both Power and Ethernet Signal for its full 65-foot length when connected to my PoE Network Switch.This Cat 7 Shielded Ethernet LAN Cable has my recommendation.

J'ai une maison de 1870 à murs épais où le passage de câbles Ethernet est toujours un souci.Pour deux câbles plats à passer, j'avais posé une gaine de 25mm comme traversée de mur (18mm intérieurs).Je pensais en avoir fini mais le nouveau Player TV n'a pas de port Ethernet en sortie !Ce troisième câble plat est passé sans problème, seule obligation, un peu de ruban adhésif pour maintenir la fiche "appuyée".C'était vraiment impossible avec des câbles ronds sauf à les sertir moi-même.De même, les faire longer les tuyaux de chauffage central est presque un plaisir !

Un cable plano de red ... alguno que nunca había visto, y que ya no puedo decir.Lo cierto es que el paquete en que viene ocupa bien poco, lo que nos indica cómo aprovecha el espacio este tipo de cable.Desgraciadamente no tengo ningún dispositivo de 10 gigas de velocidad ya que mi red es 1 giga con cable bastante normal, pero aun así haciendo pruebas cambiando un par de cables desde el switch a dos ordenadores si que he visto mejoras en la velocidadAun así no justifican el gasto a menos que vayas a sustituir tu red entera o parcialmente, o tengas intención de cambiar los switch y tarjetas de red de 1 giga a 10 gigasPor otro lado es un cable con el que vas a ir muy sobrado probablemente

Questo cavo di rete piatto è utile se lo si deve far passare in spazi ristretti. Nel mio caso si è adattato perfettamente dietro lo zoccolino, in modo da raggiungere una parte di casa priva di cablaggio restando totalmente celato alla vista.Ad ogni modo il cavo in questione risponde allo standard Cat7, ovvero uno dei più recenti in quanto a velocità ed affidabilità.Ha una lunghezza di 10 metri, quindi non eccessiva, anche se in ogni caso è possibile tagliarlo e crimparlo con una normalissima pinza crimpatrice, l’importante è che sia compatibile con gli spinotti pass-through.Il cavo, essendo un cat7, ha un’ottima velocità di picco, anche se in realtà nel mio caso è molto al di sopra delle mie necessità in quanto dispongo di una misera fibra 30 mbit.Diciamo che nel caso di fibre più performanti questo cavo è l’ideale per non perdere Mbit di banda.Nel complesso lo trovo dunque un ottimo cavo, soprattutto se si hanno esigenze di spazio.
