These are good, precise shifters and for hurtling down a rough tracks they'll be perfect. But for quiet back streets, especially late at night, they make me feel self conscious; the clicks are louder than any I've used before.

This is a superb selector. I had to remove a number of handlebar mounted parts that were well rusted on after 30 years in the rain. That made my fitment a bit of a bind. Us i had fitted a new cable before i bought the part and didnt want to waste it. So i added complication by removing the cable it came with. It arrived on time. Was in perfect condition. Cable is fitted to the selector so only needs threading thru any outer sheaths you may be using. I thought at first that because of the handle bar upturn i have it was going to result in the levers being unreachable. Tgis wasnt the case though. I was replacing a set where the leavers are in front of the bar..visible.I thought..oh no..i cant see the back leaver. This will never work. But once i put my hands on the grips...the hidden up lever falls beautifully for my fingers behind the bar!! So dont worry if only the down lever shows. I get some condesation in the gear selector window.But the actual selection is firm.positive..accurate. responds well to fine adjustment on the small grub screw adjusters on the back derraillier. Recommend this part. Its a dream to use once adjusted correctly and sites pergectly on my handlebars

It feels and works so well, and it is quite inexpensive, halfords sells this for much more. It hasn't caused me a single problem so far and the levers feel really nice and they are at a very comfortable position for shifting. I paired this with shimano altus m310 deraileur and they work wonders!! Leave a "helpful" please :-)

Great shifter used to upgrade a kids bike that originally had twist grip shift. The original problem was my kids was not using the gears on the bike because they were too difficult to change. As soon as i fitted the part my kid could change up and down at will.

Heavy, but well built. No more plastic SRAM for me
