Good value Salt and Pepper Grinder Set
Weighing 299 grammes each, the KitchenGet Salt and Pepper Grinder set feels solid and well made. Sometimes plastic can cheapen the look of products but the contemporary design combined with the choice of plastic works well here. Note that the ceramic material mentioned in the product title and description refers only to the grinding mechanism. All other parts are made from glass (Soda-lime), plastic (ABS) and some metal to hold things together. From ‘fine’ to ‘coarse’ and everything in-between, the grinder can easily be adjusted to get the exact salt or pepper texture you want. Rotate the adjustment clockwise for a finer grind and anti-clockwise for rough, coarse texture. I’ve uploaded some images showing different sizes of ground peppercorns to give an idea of what can be achieved. When it comes to general care and maintenance, the grinders are not dishwasher safe but the main components can be disassembled and given a thorough manual clean.I’ve been using these grinders regularly for about 3 months now and for the most part I’m happy with it and how it performs but I do feel there are some small improvements that can be made to the product:1) Size and Grip: One thing I couldn’t help but notice when using the grinder is that it feels a little big and awkward to hold. Moreover, the body’s low friction, smooth glass surface doesn’t always provide sufficient grip. It would be nice if the diameter of the grinders were made a little smaller in future so it feels more comfortable in the hand. Glass etching or sandblasting techniques can also be employed to add roughness or texture to the surface which will help increase grip.2) Adjustment Symbols: The grind adjustment symbols on top of the mill are a little difficult to see and comprehend. Firstly, this is due to the fact that the background and foreground colours are the same and secondly, both symbols look very similar. I initially used trial and error to figure out which direction I had to turn the adjustment in order to get the desired grind size. I think the symbols can be improved to better convey their meaning and made to stand out a bit more.3) Colour Options: The grinder set comes in a neutral grey/cream colour which is fine but I would welcome at least one additional colour or material option to the product line. Personally, I’d like to see a black or natural wood version. With all that said, the KitchenGet Salt and Pepper Grinder set still represents good value for money. It comes with a 2 year guarantee for added peace of mind and the seller, Claus Vilholm, is very helpful and always seems keen to provide a good service.

Unconventional appearance but suprisingly practical.
So far, I've been pleased with these. Bought mainly on positive reviews, I've had grinders before but specifically wanted a set with ceramic mechanism. These are larger than expected and look a bit 'unconventional' with the mechanism visible from above, but in use they are excellent and quite practical. Each grinder dismantles to allow easy cleaning and refilling of the chamber. The grinder can easily be adjusted to alter the grade too, so the ground content can be varied between course and very fine. Turning the grinder upside down and with the hole over your plate allows easy grinding over food, or you can grind the amount you want into the bowl of the lid first, then stick the resulting ground content onto/into your food when cooking.Works very well so far.

So pleased with this grinder(s) Works like a charm, BUT..
So pleased with this grinder(s)Works like a charm, grind is so pleasant. The design is what won me over . The head shape that allows you to position droppings in the way you like - WINNER.Build is awesome, solid cyrstal and nice plastic top. 3 days of use so far - really pleased!Would/Will update if i run into some problems ^_^1 Year later Edit: Just a tiny bit of annoyment: the glass is not flat on one of them at the bottom, and it keeps wobbling on the table when you move plates or gently shake it.

Good gear
Well made, efficient and solid grinders that promise to work and last well. The only minor problem I have found is that it is easy accidentally to leave some seasoning in the head of the device, so that the next person will unwittingly get more than expected. I understand that the design is deliberate, in order to allow for the collection of larger amounts when cooking, and the problem is avoided by ensuring that the mouth is pointing directly downwards when grinding, but it's something to be aware of. Notwithstanding that, I'm very pleased with them.

I like the ability to be able to grind salt and ...
I like the ability to be able to grind salt and pepper to the consistency you want and in that respect these grinders are excellent. Having filled each of the grinders with fresh pepppercorns and Malden sea salt both are working well but I notice that the sea salt has taken in a lot of moisture and is positively damp whereas the pepper grinder is dry and clean. They both live next to one another so no difference in humidity. I have now put some rice grains at the bottom of the salt grinder to see what happens.

A new type of grinder..
So far, so good! I like the fact that they don't leave salt & pepper where they stand like most grinders and also that you can grind into the top bit first, before sprinkling/adding to pot on the stove - although this doesn't work so well when the salt/pepper is low. They are much easier to fill/clean than any grinders I have owned before. Al in all, the design seems like a sensible departure from traditional grinders and does away with all the problems associated with them.

Salt and pepper grinder - leaves no mess
Good, as there is no mess on the table because the grinder is not at the bottom that stands on the table its in the plastic top. They work well but you do have to find the knack of using them. Once you do they are extremely good. You can turn them on their opening side and grind straight onto food or turn them on their back and have the opening pointing upwards so you grind and collect the salt/pepper in the plastic top. Practice for a while first and don't forget to trial the grinder coarse/fineness to get it right. Well thought out product for practicality

Disappointed
First impressions were of good quality and stylish, after a week of using these one broke! the plastic part inside sheared off at one of the thin areas, the salt gets backed up in the head pretty quickly and you need to remove and give it a little clean often as it builds up. All in all bit gutted as they are nice looking. I could have been unlucky with a defect but if you can deal with the build up in the head then give it a try as they are nice looking. Can’t fault amazon service they are outstanding as usual gave me a full refund as I couldn’t return them being at the start of COVID lockdown.
