Almost perfect portable coffee grinder
This is just about the perfect portable coffee grinder for me. Having a motor allows me to start the grinding process while I carry on doing other prep. It's not as fast as using a large burr countertop grinder but it's a lot faster than hand grinding. If the battery runs out of power or if something jams up the burrs it is nice to have the backup option of hand grinding though. The grind is consistent enough for my pour-over purposes. It seems to be about as consistent as my large burr countertop grinder. I'm not sure I would try using this for espresso but "portable" and "espresso" really aren't things that go together well anyway. The size of this grinder is great but it's also the thing that I find most limiting. My portable pour-over setup is good for up to 30 grams of coffee. This grinder can only take about 18 grams at a time. That means for each 30 gram batch of coffee I have to do two grind cycles. It's not a deal breaker and I still really like this grinder, but I wish it were just a touch larger to handle that slightly larger load of coffee all at once.

Portable, quiet, easy to use; Great option for fresh ground coffee on the go!
REPEAT CUSTOMER!If that isn't the best start to a review, I don't know what is.My job has me traveling between MI and MA on a regular basis. I bought a second one so I keep one in each location. I can grind 15+ hoppers of coffee between charges. I'd love to give you an exact number, but it's so infrequent that I don't even know if it's 15, 20, 25...?I use this for French press and Keurig coffee. I have not tried it for espresso grind, but I am doubtful that it would produce an acceptable espresso grind. I am fairly close to the smallest grind (3 clicks, I believe) and it is still a fairly course grind. However, as I haven't actually tried it, I can only offer my perception. The USB-C charger port is finicky. USB-C should be a universal plug, but I do have to keep the original cord that came with the unit. That is the only reason this is 4 star rather than 5 star.

High Quality grinder.
I got this grinder to use grinding dried spices from the garden. In the ad it shows pictures of grinding lots of things. So far we have only used it for coffee and pepper but intend to use it for much more to come. It is well made and comes with an attractive case to keep it in. I have high hopes and will post an update after seeing how it does with more items.

The perfect companion to Picopresso or Aeropress
Awesome compact portable grinder. Heavy duty, solid construction and quality burr assembly. Does take some time to grind (about five full minutes or so for espresso grind), so while the crank works smoothly once you're past the first crack, you're going to want to use the motor most of the time. Still, the crank is handy if you accidentally let the battery run flat. The course/fine adjustment has distinct detents for added convenience, and the steps are small enough to let you dial your grind in perfectly - a must for espresso. You will want to double check the directional markings as you assemble or disassemble the various pieces as some are reverse threaded (to prevent self-disassembly while grinding). Should you ever take it too far apart and forget how to put it back together, you'll find a convenient and complete exploded view in the instructions to facilitate correct reassembly. In conclusion, a top quality grinder for travel or small spaces that should last a long long time. I highly recommend this for Aeropress and/or Picopresso users.

Great auto burr grinder!
I have a manual burr grinder already. It becomes such a chore making espresso or coffee thinking about hand cranking the grinder. The soulhand electric grinder is 2 in 1. It’s a manual grinder as well as electric. It all comes in a nice carry case to store the body, the manual handle and the automatic battery. The burr grinder can be set to various fineness or coarseness levels via the dial, just like any burr grinder. The best part though is the battery operated portion that goes on instead of the handle. It’s recharged via usb c and can grind many cups worth of coffee. You throw your beans into the receptacle and put the battery on and with 1 push you’re grinding. No work. No fatigue. Easy. This takes up less space than those large counter top grinders and you can take it with you on your travels.

It's made really well, but espresso is way too slow
It's built really well, and I love everything about it, except it's almost unusable for espresso. It might need to be broken in, so I'll update this if it changes, but it just seems to grind way too slow for espresso. Now this is being said with the setting at 4 clicks like the manual states. It would take about 10-15min with the motor to grind 20g of espresso. For pourovers and other more coarse methods, it works great. The handle action is smooth and comfortable, and the motor is strong and automatically stops after it's finished grinding the beans. The included case is a great addition as well.
