3M Cavilon No-Sting Barrier Film - 28Ml Spray

Years ago I used to have a "second skin" liquid which sealed cuts & abrasions. I bought this expecting a spray version of the same....but no, this is a hundred times better! As the name suggests, it does not sting on application but forms a very fine layer over the cut. This is virtually invisible and so fine I cannot feel it, yet it does protect cuts and abrasions from dirt and infection. As a keen gardener and silver smith I get lots of fine cuts and this is the best treatment and protection I have ever come across. I can get right back to work without worrying about infecting any cuts. I don't know how/when it vanishes but after a few days cut has heeled and no sign of any film on the skin.I will certainly get this again and will recommend it to others in my jewellery making class.

Perfect and does exactly what it is meant to do.A little on the small side but as you only use a small amount I can imagine it will last a while. Really helped to clear up the sores

the skin surrounding my PICC line was beginning to itch and was red with sores, it has all cleared up now after 3 weeks using the Cavilon spray. you don't need very much and it needs to time to dry properly

I use this on the skin around both my ileostomy and urostomy and I swear by this stuff! Leaves a very thin, slightly tacky film on the skin so it doesn’t negatively affect bag adhesion. Protects the skin so well! Only 2 reasons im not giving 5 stars is the cost and the actual packaging - however I know that no matter how bad my skin gets, cavilon will help save it!Great quality product but the bottles often have leaky lids or don’t spray quite correctly - make sure to store upright and wipe the spray nozzle after each use to prevent product buildup affecting the spray.

This spray has been fantastic at helping the recovery of the wife following a hospital stay. The spray is no sting which is great for her wounds and dries quickly so you can overlay it with Cavillon cream for a really speedy healing and general barrier. Highly recommended

Does exactly as advertised! I’ve used it on day old cuts and other wounds so I can shower and get my wounded hand wet with great effect. One thing I was concerned about after using similar products was the fear that the pump would clog up as the product dried on the nozzle, but the dispenser has remained fully functional after several days use! Highly recommended.

I like the fact that one quick spray covered the affected area , wait a few seconds for it to dry and area was ready for clothes. The area looked like it had a new skin and was completely dry

I bought this to use as a barrier beneath sticky plasters after reading other reviews. But for me it didn't work, I still had a reaction to the plasters. I also found it stayed quite tacky on the skin and personally felt that it was ridiculously overpriced.
