Painful to use
I bought this a few weeks ago and have tried to make it work, but it doesn't. Half the time it doesn't even break the lid of the tin and when it does it's a painful hassle to open it. It's like it's stuck on its wheels or something, and I dread every time I have to use it. Maybe mine was a faulty one, cause I don't get all the good reviews it got.

My husband tells me this is a great item. The item looks great, with its streamlined shape. It has a decent heft to it and feels great in the hand. He uses it easily, but for some reason I am unable to. I've seen from other reviews that other left handers haven't had a problem with it so the problem is with me not it. Having said that, the company offered me a refund, being as I couldn't personally use it, which is customer service above and beyond expectation.

Useless - Do Not Buy It
This is by far the worst tin opener I have ever owned. It is so difficult to use that I just don't use it any more. It's too stiff to turn the handle and the cutter often doesn't grip the can. Useless! Do Not Buy It. If I could give it no stars at all, that's what I'd do.

Good Looks But Totally Useless
Certainly isn't a good can opener. All it has is its looks. It's completely useless at opening cans. If you want some for your kitchen drawer that doesn't work but looks fancy. This is the one. Personally stay away.Buy another can opener.

Fell apart - sent it back :-(
Worked great for about a week and then the mechanism somehow unscrewed itself and under the tension of the spring some of the moving parts flew out. Luckily I was still able to eat my backed beans that night!
