BIM Handbook: A Guide to Building Information Modeling for Owners, Managers, Designers, Engineers and Contractors

I have been using the BIM Handbook for years, and consider it to be a key text for introducing students to BIM. I also regularly use it for my own research. The BIM Handbook is written by leading experts in this field, and gives an in-depth discussion with plenty of examples that help practical understanding and implementation.

The same info could be printed in a smaller edition as there is much info that repeats itself. Should be more straight to the point without the constant reminders. Liked the case studies though! Thumbs up for them.

Libre essencial per a saber sobre BIM. Encara que vigent, começa a estar ja un pèl desactualitzat per l'evolució del Programari.

This is possibly the best book I've ever read about anything!It's so informative, well organized, well written and supported (with regard to references, bibliography etc.)It's a great reference and an enjoyable read to boot - well done!Oh, and BIM is interesting too. ;-)

Een zeer uitgebreid handboek met veel case-studies met betrekking tot de implementatie van BIM in het bouwproces. interessant voor elke starter, zowel de ontwerper als de bouwer.Helaas wel erg gericht op de amerikaanse markt, waardoor veel artikelen lastig leesbaar zijn door de vele afkortingen die worden gebruikt.Zolang er in de nederlandse bouwwereld weinig ervaring is met BIM, en er dus geen nederlandstalig handboek beschikbaar is, zal dit het beste alternatief blijven.
