Best thing £150 has got me in the 2020 Lockdown
Quick Summary: Very impressive, and Highly recommended, even to the point I have already recommend it as a item to purchase to a friend who has also purchased one.My review I can assure you is 100% my own opinion. I purchased this protector with my own Money and this review is not influenced in anyway.I felt the need to review this Projector, quite simply but its amazing for what it cost. I had owned a projector many years ago, it was sold simply on the basis of needing to move into my first place and freeing up funds. I've missed the projector experience every single day since. However that is going back 10+ years, the projector I purchased then was £700+ and entry level then.Whilst this is entry level product in theory today , it also only £150, but its LED lit, far brighter and with longer shelf life than older projectors & Native 1080P. - NOT 1080 SupportGoing back again, it only cost me £150. I couldn't even buy a quality branded 32" Bedroom television for that price. This is exactly however where this projector has gone, my Bedroom. The unit sits on a shelf above my Bed and gives me up to 120" Display at that distance. I understand the claim is up to 300" however to achieve this the projector would have to be some distance away from the wall and at that point I may question the visible screen quality. The screen quality however at this time up to 120" is by far FANTASTIC.When purchasing this projector I did a lot of research and for the money it was honestly down to 2 units, this and the Vankyo 630.There was only £10 difference either way, with specs the same I chose this model quite simply on is appearance, I thought when not in use, as a shelved item it looks clean, fresh and in a way slightly retro, the fabric frontage just gives it a differing look to that of a generic Projector. As noted above, I did a lot of research before actually buying it, reading the reviews, going on Youtube, and whilst waiting for the delivery 2 review points worried or bugged me... But lets be clear (Do not worry about them)1: The Sound (Speakers)2: The Sound (Fan Noise)1: the speakers were by far way better than expected, Easily surpass that of a generic television speakers capability. As soon as I had arrived it was straight out of the box and in use, I watched a few Netflix Shows, (Marco Polo) and I find as-long as the Show you are watching is entertaining and looks good, with OK ish sounds, you get lost in the show and forget about the Sound in general. So more than OK for general use.I am however a major movie and game fan so the projector isn't used for sound - just for Visual pass through, the sound is now carried to a Sound Bar. One friend criticized the projector saying it only really has a AUX out for sound - But who cares, Id trail the sound out of my Sky and Games console via optical to the Sound Bar. Either way you can still carry sound that way if you want.2: Its a projector, yes they get warm so do have a fan, its like anything Laptop or PC, the projector is Audible but this thing sits on a shelf above my head in bed, I did not hear it when there is something on, Movie or Games, it only notable if you stand there without any source going through it.(But at that point why moan about the loud fan - if its not being used (I hope that make sense)I don't believe I can stress enough what an amazing product this is and for what it cost. Its as stated, a straight out of box usable projector, the advantage of inbuilt speakers, it will work for those with limited space or simply do not care or want additional sound bars or speakers. Honestly you don't really need them for basic use.The Speakers are Perfect for outdoor summer use, or general portability to another persons house, this is only about 2.5kg and can be easily carried about in a rucksack to another location. Now this point is not aimed just at this projector, but many others out there, but If I was to re-design this product myself I would had adjustable feet, so all 4 can be adjusted, whilst there is a leg for front adjustment, having the same capability at the rear would be helpful, That said it doesn't detract my review or opinion of this unit. I'm currently using this against a White wall, the wall paper is slightly embossed so the next thing will be a screen, however in my opinion the benefit of the screen would only be very minimal against what I have already, so im not in a rush.I've added a Photo but to be honest its pointless, its a dark room with a photo of Disney +. but to give you an idea, that image is around 110-120" approximate. The protector is fully usable in day light also, however really shines in darker locations and you get the better performance. I have no regrets in my own purchase, no regrets in recommending to a friend (Who has purchased it) and no hesitation in recommending it to public on this forum.

Surprising Value - Works great
'You get what you pay for' is a saying that tends to ring true when buying electronics but I was really surprised at this projector. OK it's not 4K UHD quality but show me a projector that is unless you're going to spend £1000's on one. The picture attached is projected on a 120" screen - It's massive! Very watchable. It does have it's own speakers however I use the headphone output (3.5mm jack) to connect a home cinema amp and the sound is great! Really easy to set up as well. For the really fussy here are the things you might want to know:Projection angle - you need to have the projector central to the screen as the keystone adjustment is only on the x-axis. When the keystone is set at its maximum I did notice slight blurring at either the very top or bottom of the screen (dependant on which way keystone set) Currently I have the projector positioned at a lower angle, projecting upwards, however I'm going to shelf mount it so that its level with the centre of the screen - I think that will cure the blurring.Fan Noise - Yes you can hear the fan but again that's par for the course, all projectors have fans but when we have been watching films and sports you can't hear it above the movie soundtrack. Even in quieter parts of films you just forget it's there.Brightness - In a darkened room absolutely no problem but no chance in daylight. You will need to shut the curtains!Overall an honest 8.5 out of 10 when all considered - I had an older projector that cost more than three times what this one did, I know technology moves on, but the picture quality of this Elephas projector is far superior. For the price this is a great projector and will suit most people looking for a fun big screen experience. I would recommend hooking it up to an additional sound system so you get that 'BIG' sound to match.
