I bought these after having a Blinding Flash of the Obvious that the reason I couldn’t wear earrings anymore was because I had to replace lost backs over time with cheapos from Michael’s. After a few years it occurred to me that the backs weren’t gold. These are incredibly inexpensive. Can’t imagine if one had bought backs from a jewelry store what outrageous prices would have been charged if they were even willing to part with any. Save yourself time and bucks and buy these. Buy more than you think you need because we all know how easy it is to drop the buggers. I already dropped one of the 8 I ordered and wished I’d gotten more.

I have a very special pair of pearl earrings my mother gave me many years ago. She has since passed on so they are very precious. Due to Covid masking. I have to be mindful of the straps and them getting caught on the earrings and pulling them out my ear. This happened a few times and I was lucky to find both the earring and the back. But the last few times the backs were no where to be found. I never thought about searching on the app for new ones. I now have 4 pairs and don't have to worry about replacing them. They are also a more snugger fit than the old ones, so I have less concern about a sudden pull off. Thanks again Amazon!

The earring backs were as described! They work perfectly with my diamond stud earrings. A nice tight fit, they didn't turn green and no irritation to my ears!!
