What came me wasn't worth using. One taste and I pitched it out. Fresh Aleppo pepper is a bright red and flaky, glistening with essential oil. In contrast, this stuff was dull red and clumpy. Just the barest trace of hotness, too. If you want fresh Aleppo pepper, then order this instead Marmara Aleppo Peppers Flaked Crushed Red Pepper Spice 8 Oz
