It's advisable to use an applicator mitt or wear gloves to prevent staining palms. Shake (closed tube) well before use and then apply a small a of gel, blending evenly in a circular motion into the body and face. To avoid streaks on knees and elbows, bend when applying to these areas. The tan will develop over 4-6 hours.
