Perhaps there is better RAM on the market for a similar price.... but in short: I LOVE THE LOOK OF THESE.I used to work in IT so know quite a lot, but I am certainly not a know it all techie sort. But on paper these look good. The reviews seem good. Corsair is a brand I have trusted before. 1600Mhz is a good speed. DDR3 is expected. The Timings on these are excellent.The only downside is 4GB. Is that enough?Depends on what you're doing, Until recently I have 'managed' on 2GB of budget DDR1 in a dinosaur computer. My computer now is blisteringly fast and reliable. All on budget components. So this 4GB is good enough... for now. But the plan is to get a second 4GB in the next few months for dual channel mode. And then either another 2x4gb modules or most likely 2x16 for 40gb RAM. Eventually swapping out the original 2x4GB for a second dual channel 32mb combo.But probably not for another 4 years or so.At the moment I am using the computer for word processing and drawing pictures on mspaint.exe In the near future I hope to push the boundaries of the memory and my computer in general by playing DOOM 3D and Civ2. I hope the 4gb holds up

a bit too tall for no apparent reason. while it looks awesome it might be problematic if you have a big cooler. the quality is good. runs like a charm and the price is affordable. I recommend 2x 4GB instead of 1x 8GB. unless you need more for 3d art, video editing. 2x 4GB is plenty for gaming. the 1600mhz is more than enough. I recommend it.

This Ram is very good with neat timing's. It feels very solidly made and doesn't feel cheap. The heatsinks look amazing and in red look even better and match my theme, and also do a fine job of keeping the memory kool. I'm sure this stuff will overclock to around 2Ghz+ if you know what your tweaking. This isn't a bad thing but the heatsinks stand quite tall and 50% of aftermarket cooler these days wont be compatible because there so big, mine just about fit. If you want to be sure get the low profile version, very well made from Corsair!

Runs quick, looks good, keeps cool thanks to the heat sink included, what more could you ask for. Overclocks fairly well but there are better alternatives for this, but if your happy to run at 1600mhz i wouldn't buy any other product than this. I also have a kingston fan cooler placed over my ran and the height of this ram caused no problems.

I've used Corsair RAM many times and it has never let me down (however neither has many other brands!). These particular modules I chose more for the price and look rather than anything else. The heatsinks are very tall on these particular models, which I was happy with as it made the red detailing more prominent but this could easily cause issues with many after market heatsinks. However I'm sure the larger heatsinks will benefit cooling and I did monitor temperatures by touch while testing and I can confirm at stock 1600mhz XMP profiles the heatsinks remained cool to the touch.All in all I can not fault these chips, I would advise people check measurements before purchase but other than that I think they are keenly priced and offer very good value for money.

The ram itself is fine but I decided to use these in a mini itx build which wasn't too bright given that the cabling from the psu pushes up against the fins. Worked straight out of the box and supports slower speeds as well as its native 1600mhz. I used this with a G3258 cpu and the ram handled the slower 1333mhz limit fine. In fairness this is a 5 star product for anything other than a mini itx build, the profile of the cooling fins is a little high for small spaces. It does run cool thanks to its large size and looks good on the motherboard.

Nothing compares to Corsair. Very overclockable ram and never get hot or ever get any problems when over clocked by 20% Buy a branded product and get high quality go buy something like Kingston ram or unbranded your asking for many problems and can easly fail within a few years depending on what your using for and can easily be more expensive. Simple solution BUY high quality and get an amazing product and something that lasts forever or to be re sold on if your upgrading in the future.

THE PRODUCTI was expecting 2 sticks however got 1 but this was to be expected as it did advertise only one stick (so my fault there) good product works well all 4Gb picked up my other RAM sticks are value RAM and only pick up 3.21Gb though... not this RAM's fault though. Had to restart computer twice to get it to recognise the RAM's existence, keep that in mind.DELIVERYGood delivery time with the free one day Amazon prime trial came on Thursday instead of the predicted Saturday so good on that front...PACKAGINGGood packaging, comes in bubble wrap envelope ( don't know how else to describe it ). Product completely intact.ConclusionIt's good. :)

Using an old 3rd gen i3 desktop with only 1 4gb ram. Needed to add more ram and was in sear5 for the same memory stick to match my existing ram module. This seller had one piece in stock. Got it delivered in 3 days. Ram installed and works as expected. No issues faced. As soon as I installed it. It showed up in windows. Very happy with this purchase.

Corsair is reputable brand. Will likely order another one, where I fried 2 dimms on my motherboard, and can only use two slots now. DDR3 is yesterdays technology of course, but am not ready to start over again with new board

Originally was going to go with the 24GB option @ 1066Mhz but saw that option and couldn't pass it up. So glad I did! This memory is fast and makes my computer function so much better @ 1666Mhz. If you have an older PC like I do and want to upgrade the memory, this is a killer deal. Highly recommend this product. Very easy to install and it just plain works.
