I ordered this self cleaning cat litter box with hopes of elemenating daily clean up. I had a little difficulty hooking it up to my phone but the box works Great! When the bag is full there is some urine in the bottom of the unit which needs to be cleaned out. We are so happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend buying one. They are a little pricey but your fur baby will have a clean box daily and you don't have to clean a litter box daily. Win win!

The entrance is too high and as a result urine gets stuck between the entrance and seeps in to the drum. In addition the clay clumps does not fall in to the plastic bag as it is supposed to and you pretty much have to clean it the same as a regular litter box. we tried to stick with it to see if it is our cats getting used to it that is the problem but the cheap litter box works better than the expensive one. We wanted to return it only to discover that the time to return it has expired and we are stuck with an expensive litter box that does not work.

This litter box has made my life so much easier. It auto cleans but can also be controlled by an app if you want it to clean faster. I have not noticed any smell either. My cat took to it right away. Highly recommend!

When it is rotating, it sounds like any minute is going to quit. I have multiple pets and one absolutely refuses to use it. I have tried all the suggestions and so far he will not use it. I also believe it’s taking more litter than just a cat box.

I love it so far and my kitty been great going and out and he is about 18 lbs.

This does take a few days to convince the cat it is ok. But this thing is awesome, or so I thought…I wrote that about a week after started trying to get cat to use.I have since tried every litter I could buy clumping to not clumping, highest priced to cheapest. Changed the clumping time highest to lowest. The cat will walk up and will smell it and walk away. The sanitizer blows the urine smell around the house. Have moved it out of utility room so it does not go through HVAC system. Cleaning the drum is a feet, if you have back pain run fast it is so awkward to clean, but absolutely necessary or the smell is horrible and cat won’t use. I have kept quiet trying to come up with an idea I could live with the smell. I clean the drum Saturday and Wednesday then Sunday Wednesday each week. In the winter I used my walkin shower now that it is warmer the hose in the yard. Cleans better in the yard with hose pressure and less of a mess in the shower. Several hours to dry so plan an alternative box.Very disappointing. Oh and in-between cleanings use Clorox wipes to wipe the inside of the drum (invest in rubber gloves) and arm and hammer cat deodorizer so I can stand to use the bathroom I have had to default the location of litter box to. Think hard about wasting your money, because this is expensive. LitterMaid I miss you!
