The crown was the perfect way to complete an Evil Queen costume. I got so many compliments and it was comfortable enough to wear all day at work and then on to take the kiddos trick or treating in the evening.

It did the job, the crown stayed up and I felt like it looked accurate. It just felt a little itchy and by the end of the day I couldn’t wait to take it off.

I purchased this crown and hood to complete my (otherwise homemade) Halloween costume. The black hood/balaklava-type thing is very soft, comfortable and is even adjustable for different head sizes by adjusting the discreet velcro strip in the back. The crown is attached and is made of a sturdy thin foam material. There is even a faceted black "gem" in the center of the hood. I was really impressed with the construction and durability, not to mention comfort (I wore it at school for 8 hours) of this item. It was the perfect addition to my homemade costume of purple crushed velvet zip up robe (Ebay auction of used housecoat), black fabric cape with hot-glued gold felt trim, a necklace constructed from a tin can top painted with ruby nail polish that I hot glued to old purple Mardi Gras beads, black leather ankle boots and patterned black tights. I even made the Evil Queen hood collar by cutting out the shape on poster board, covering it with purple velour fabric, curling the edges outward and (wait for it) hot-gluing it to my black cape. The black cape I made by purchasing 3 yards of leftover black fabric at a craft resale shop. I had so much fun with this costume and may even use it again next year!

I bought this to go with my Evil Queen costume for a half marathon at Disneyworld. I LOVED it, and my costume looked great. The best part of this is that the head is not covered - it looks like it is from the picture but the only thing that is covered are your ears and the very front of your forehead. It's super comfy. I saw one other girl wearing one of these and she had hers tucked behind her ear, and the crown still stayed upright and in place. It's a very nice design, slips on easily, and stayed put for a 13.1 mile run plus several other hours of walking to and from the event. It was hot the day of the race but I kept it on and it was surprisingly not too bad because the top of my head was completely uncovered.

This headpiece was the perfect addition to my Evil Queen costume. The look is a perfect match to the Disney original Snow White movie. The cowl fit perfectly around the face. The reason for the four stars instead of five is that the top of your head doesn't get covered. That wasn't a major problem for me as I have black hair, but you'll need a cover if you have lighter hair. Not shown in the picture is a strand of gold sequins that starts at the side edge of the crown and goes around the back to the other side. This covers the seam and top edge of the head piece. Still looked great just not a true head cover.

Ordered this for a last minute costume and I was glad it arrived earlier than expected.The fabric is soft and the top part (crown) is sturdy. There’s a hook and loop closure on the back that is somewhat adjustable.Overall it’s a pretty good headpiece for the price.

I'm so glad I ordered this! It would have cost me almost the same to make it and wouldn't have turned out nearly as awesome. Thankful for the velcro at the back of the head, although I must have a small head because I had to fasten at the tightest possible point. Kinda awkward to put on, but it stayed in place all night. My hair, however, did not. In hindsight, I would have braided and pinned hair to be shown in the open part. Because I had mine in a low pony tail instead, by the end of the night it was snaked around my neck and driving me crazy.

A must buy for an Evil Queen. I was very happy with this purchase. It is very sturdy and the Velcro closure allowed for proper fit. And to top it off, I won a prize for Best Costume. 😊
