American Girl Grace: Girl of the Year 2015 Mini Doll

I am not keen on the way american girl have changed the mini dolls so they have hard bodies not cloth as they are not as much like the large dolls like the older ones. However from the moment I laid eyes on Grace I fell in love with her and as I am unable to currently buy 18 inch Grace I decided to get the mini doll, I am so glad I did she is stunning even in mini doll form and she has become my new favorite of the mini dolls. Grace is a must have mini doll she will blow you away as she is super cute. The fact she is the new type of mini doll actually does not bother me as her face is so sweet

I am a doll collector and collect various dolls including Pippa, Madeline and as of now American Girl mini dolls. The packaging of mini AG is a simple box with no twist ties or annoying bits of plastic securing the doll in place - the doll lifts straight out the box, which is brilliant :) Grace's hair is super-soft and beautifully styled with a side fringe and a little side plait. Her face is cute and her eyes not too 'starey'. Her dress is a simple one piece with velcro at the back and not too impressive, however plenty of other clothes are easy to find with a quick search on the internet. Grace feels like a quality little doll and a great addition to any collection, yet tough enough to withstand play. Should I ever want to read the mini book that was included I will need a magnifying glass ... the words are tiny!! My verdict is that Grace is well worth the £15 Amazon are selling her for and I'll definately get her a few friends ;)

Can't afford the full-sized doll so ordered this one. It was for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it. It is very good quality. I have managed to buy a little nightdress for it (not actually made for an mini American Doll - but searched for similar sized dolls- as nice to have another outfit). The doll was packaged nicely, too. The book is not full version - just first 3 chapters. The doll has a hard body.

Grace thomas arrived very well and my 5 year old is loving her vry much.cant wait to get another doll.
