Being a parent of a child with autism, finding the right book is always a challenge. At the moment my son enjoys sound books, and this musical playback has been giving him lots of sensory stimulation. The colours within the book are bright, but nicely coordinated so there isn't too much for him to become overstimulated.The sound quality is sharp and easily recognisable, but it's not loud enough to cause my son any distress which is great. Some books are so loud he covers his ears and pushes away, but this one was an instant hit.It's a nice size, can easily fit into his backpack so he can read it at school and at his grandparents.We both look forward to more sound books from the creators of this one to be available soon hopefully, as uniformity is a big part of my son's autism so he would love a nice pile of them.

This is a large book, with quite a lot to look at on each page (various pictures, vibrant colours, cutouts, different textures and flaps to lift). There are also several short and pleasant melodies you can play, which makes the book even more interesting for a baby. I got this for my six month old who has shown a good amount of interest in it, so I'm happy with the purchase. However, a word of caution: the book is hardcover and the pages are made of thick cardboard, so you have to be very careful because a baby could easily get injured if they tried to turn the pages or pull the book closer to themselves (this is not just because of the hard materials but also due to the size of the book).

Brilliant book! Bright colours and pictures, textures, flaps, and 10 different tunes - this book has it all! No words, but so much to look at and touch - I still notice new things every time. Bought for my daughter when she was just a few months old but it quickly became her favourite thanks to all the different sounds and tunes. She's now 10 months and drags all the books off the shelf every day until she finds this one! Ģreat quality - some of the flaps are a bit delicate to little fingers that like to grab, but overall I love this book and would highly recommend.

Very colourful and loads of pictures on each page. Bought for a 1year old so hopefully will like it. There’s flaps to lift up too although you would need to watch a baby doesn’t tear that bit.

This is a fantastic book for any baby and after two years my toddler still regularly picks this one out (hence a second copy after the first became very worn out). The sound effects are calming and clear and there are lots of things to find. This is a book that will entertain little ones in different ways as they grow, and start to discover more hidden in the pages. Also makes a great gift as haven’t met a little one who didn’t love this book!
