Q: Can anyone tell me - do you use this like an essential oil - i.e. with a carrier oil, such as almond oil?

I use it on its own, the instructions on the box don't suggest using it with anything else.I am not medically qualified to tell you if it is ok to use with a carrier oil, suggest you ask a professional.

Q: Can this help with old scars gotten from cat?

I have a cat scratch that became infected on my face.. around 10 years old. It won't replace the lost tissue in my case but the scar is much less noticeable. I found using a face scrub brush from boots a pink and white brush in case you want to buy one. Use that each night over face then a few drops concentrated on scar area then use it treat my wrinkles lol but it's really nice oil. Absorbs well it does not work overnight but you will see results
