great stuff...
Bought this item a few weeks ago and got to work wrapping a raised veg planter with it. I put two layers of tape, one above the other with no gap in between as I've read on the web that the little slimy bu**ers can actually arch their bodies over a thin strip of copper. Hopefully now the amount of arching required will be too big even for the biggest slugs. Must say that so far the tape is doing the trick, no attacks from slugs or snails and I've got hundreds of the them in my garden. The tape is super sticky so grips really well and is a doddle to put on. It even seems to repel ants, which are another headache for me. Only thing I would suggest really would be wider tape so that no doubling up would be required, but I guess it's easy enough to do yourself.Very happy with it, would definitely buy more if needed. It clean, green and no nasty horrible chemicals around my veg :)

TIMES UP SLUG AND SNAIL BARRIER
Well it kind of works, the snails certainly don't like it.but somehow in wet weather it's not quite so effective.i have 2 huge hosta's in big stone pots raised about 10" off the ground,i wrapped the copper barrier tape all way round the top lip of the pot,but to make it 2 tape widths deep i had to go round again. the tape stuck to the stone pot ok ..best to make sure what you are trying to stick the tape to is clean.anyway it stayed stuck after a little encouragement.that was about 2 months ago.also good to wrap round canes supports if you have a fancy clematis, definately helps to keep the slugs and snails off, they don't like to touch the tape.

****updated review**** Not the same quality that it used to be.
*****updated review*****I bought this years ago and successfully grew a courgette plant and no slugs passed the tape so now I’ve built a raised bed I thought I’ll buy it again. It’s just not the same quality tape I got the first time round. It tore easily when applying and even when taking the cling film type wrap of it - it split the tape down the centre and it was unusable. Disappointing and definitely not the same quality that it used be.——————————————————————Original review..This product has the feel of a good quality heavy tin foil in tape form. It wasn’t flimsy or thin and was more than sticky enough to do the job. I dry wiped my pots to ensure no dust before applying. I’ve only just planted my plants in these pots and I take it that’s the best way to approach the control of pests. If you already have a problem the tape can do little for you. Many slugs burrow under the soil during the day so will already be present in your pots. I’ve applied this to four medium to large pots and I still have a small amount left. You can’t get it smooth, it does wrinkle but it is still aesthetically pleasing and as long as it does the job I’m happy. I will update my review should any slugs manage to cross this.

Times Up 4m Slug and Snail Barrier.
I applied this self adhesive copper tape to both plastic and concrete containers, also to a sapling which had all its buds and leaves eaten off last year. Surprisingly, it`s still alive. The tape is strong under tension but easy to cut and is aggressively adhesive.Since application we have had very wet and cold weather, very hot and dry weather and now some very "sluggy" weather. This copper tape is still adhering well to plastic, concrete and sapling. There is no sign of any slug or snail having crossed over it. It doesn`t look like there is 4 metres of tape when you first open the box but there is, I`ve measured it. CAUTION :- this is a very thin metallic tape and its edges are SHARP. I received a surprisingly deep cut while pulling and smoothing it down around a corner. My own stupid fault, any thin, strong metal tape is going to have sharp edges. I should have remembered that, so it`s still 5 stars for this tape.

It doesn't work
It's very flimsy and managed to become twisted, even when just wrapping it around a surface.I used it to stop slugs going onto the hedgehog food in the garden... There was soon the usual pile of slugs on the biscuits, massive fail for this product!

Organic protection for plants
Easy to use and does not harm slugs, snails etc., This copper tape is very simple to apply and really does the job o protecting any outdoor potted plants from hungry slugs and greedy snails thatare very fond of fresh new shoots etc.

The tape itself is easy to apply and self adhesive but beware the risk ...
Reduces slug damage if applied on planting up a container. Must make sure no slugs or snails are already in container, and that none can find their way in via neighbouring foliage acting as a "bridge" over the tape. The tape itself is easy to apply and self adhesive but beware the risk of a paper type cut as the edges are sharp if they catch your skin in the wrong way. Once smoothed down, this is no issue. Best applied not tooo close to top of pot/rim as larger slugs/snails will just arch the way over it and drop into pot. Instead put 5cm or so below rim. Over time the copper colour fades, and I find the tapes also become less effective. So I renew mine every 2 years.

Slug Defenser
The product doesn’t work because the slugs are still found in the soil even though there is a copper strip around the plant pot for example.

comodo sui vasi

Bin also zufrieden.
