The Bossman: Volume 1 (The Bossman Series) Paperback – 13 Mar. 2014

I have to admit, I am not a huge mafia romance fan, and I don't tend to pick them up even when they're free. The only reason I picked up The Bossman is because I am a big fan of this author's work. I am glad I made that choice as The Bossman was an entertaining and sexy little read, with some quirky twists and a pair of main characters who really suited each other and made me root for them. If you like mafia romance, definitely pick this up.

I love Renee Rose 's kinky twists in her stories. I found this story to be just a little slow to develop... The Bombing aside there wasn't as much excitement as I expected. The hot bits where they are Dating were excellent which is exactly what I expect from Renee Rose books.

A new author for me wasn't sure what to expect but overall pleasantly surprised in that just because it was framed within the world of the mafia Joey wasn't a epic jerk in the guise of being an alpha male. Easy to read, chemistry between Sophie and Joey was clear.

I love this author and this is a great story. Well written and described, hot, hot scenes. This is a fun story with characters growing and changing. Sophia and Joey are both great apart but explosive together. There are spankings and spicy sex all succinctly described. I highly recommend it.

I've read this book a few times as I really enjoy it. It has a hot alpha male and a strong female who wants to surrender to him but struggles. It has some great scenes.

Shallow cliched unoriginal . I hated it sorry. One minute she's strong and fiesty next she dismisses all her core beliefs to embrace being a door mat. Profoundly irritating.

DISAPPOINTING

Loved this book and the interaction between the characters. Will definitely be buying more.
