Good solid mic holder
This is a good solid mic holder which I think would comfortably hold large diaphragm condenser mics which are heavier than handheld ones. But I returned this item because I saw an alternative which has a more convenient and quicker mechanism for changing the height of the stand. This one is a twist to loosen and adjust and then twist to tighten. The alternative has a quick release lever for changing height.I need to be able to change the height regularly but if you just wanted to set a height and stick with it then the twist and set would be fine. However, another benefit of the alternative is that it was at a lower price at the time of purchase.

Rode NT1A
Needed a desk stand that was sturdy enough to handle Rode NT1A with the shock mount and pop filter enclosure and this thing is absolutely perfect.I can’t speak for the shock absorption but it’s a stationary piece so I don’t really need it to absorb shocks at it’ll be used to record vocals when singing and not for things like podcasting. It’s incredibly sturdy at just the right weight with rubber gasket at the bottom so that it doesn’t scratch the desk.Absolutely recommend this product.

Solid, well priced & fits Blue Yeti
The standard mic stand for my Blue Yeti was a smidge on the short side for my preference and I also wanted something to which a shock mount could be added.Whilst the shock mount has yet to arrive, the diddy little mic stand is reassuringly heavy and solid. What I also overlooked was the clever little cable clip which you can remove, replace & move as you wish. All these contributory factors culminate in yet another absolutely delighted purchase.Well priced at £14.99

Excellent build quality
Amazing product. It currently holds my auphonix shock mount attached to my blue yeti without a problem but the only gripe I have with this stand is that it is not tall enough.

Well made sturdy Mic Stand
Well made and sturdy mic stand. Very good weighted metal base with anti- shock ring underneath. It is adjustable in height, contrary to some reviews which incorrectly said that it wasn’t. Has 5/8 inch male thread on top of the stand column. Blue Snowball mics fit it very nicely but slightly impede the mic’s built in tilt adjustment- not really a concern. It adjusts to just the right height to put the Blue Snowball mic level with your mouth. I bought this stand because the mini tripod that the Blue Snowball mic comes with is far too low and reduces the mic’s recording volume. If you are fitting a Blue Snowball mic to it, ensure that there is no tilt adjustment set on the mic or the threads on the mic stand will not engage those inside the mic. Has one cable management clip - it needs 2 really. Would buy again and would definitely recommend.

Cheap and well-built.
This stand is a great if you don't want a pivot-type stand. Solid build quality, hefty weight to it so it won't slip. The only real problem that someone would have would be the lack of height-adjustment. However, most microphones have their own screw stands so you can adjust your mic on bit. Good product overall.

Perfect size
Brilliant to mount a Shure sm7b. I use this for my podcast and send it to guests via post and so far all have commented on how sturdy and reliable the stand is. Tempted to buy one for myself to replace a boom arm.
