I needed a change in measurements and although I got the number and font I wanted, they did not send me the signs with the measurements that I wanted. When you do the customisation email and they email back to say okay, get them to specifically okay everything that you asked for. Its the only way to be sure that they have read your email properly and that you get what you want. I didn't do that and really wish I had.They look okay though, and would have got an extra star if they had got the measurements right.

I bought this sign over a year ago and was worried at the time if the print on the slate would last, after a year all sorts of weather has been thrown at this sign and I can say this is a great long lasting product I can't even see any wear on the numbers and writing. It looks really good, it's a great price and they even used the exact and unusual type font I asked for.

Unfortunately the quality wasn't as good as was promised. As you can see in my photo there are several places where the laser etching has chipped off revealing the slate and it just looks awful. Hoping to replace it soon. This is exactly how it arrived but at the time I had more important things to do than review this

The only reason I would not give this item 5 stars is that painted number was thin in some places. It didn't detract from the integrity of the number and could have easily been read by people looking for our house but I used it as an opportunity to change the color to match the house name sign I had just redone. I was also a bit surprised that I never received an email stating the item had been shipped but the company got in touch with me immediately upon placing my order to let me know they had received it and the details and it arrived looking just like the picture. My husband loved the fact that the holes were pre-drilled and that all of the hardware and screw caps were included. It looks very nice on our house and ultimately I am very pleased with it.

We are very pleased with the house sign ordered from Slateworks Online - the item was as described, and the cost was much more competitive than other companies. After a follow up email via Amazon to the supplier giving details of house no. and font requested, the item arrived quickly and in good condition. We live in a conservation area, in a listed building, so a modern sign would not look appropriate, the slate sign and font fit really well with the building's age/style, it also ensures there is no misdirected post to neighbours. Would recommend, and would consider buying again.

I thought the numbers would be engraved on bit it's just painted on and its already coming off. Not sure how long it's going to last with all the elements outside

First one arrived broken but seller very quickly arranged replacement. The slate is a little thin so you need to be careful handling it and the writing is not quite as white as shown in the picture. But it is very clear and it looks good on a fence outside the house.

I was happy with the quality of slate and how the numbers were painted (font) . The communication with the supplier was prompt and professional & it arrived swiftly. I re varnished it for extra protection , as I did not want the brightness of the number to fade as time went in
