A quality wax jacket at a ridiculously reasonable price.It has enough pockets, including an inside poachers pocket. I haven’t really tested it’s waterproof qualities yet, but I can vouch that it’s incredibly warm and the 2XL fits me perfectly.I’m astonished that you can buy a jacket of this quality, in this day and age, for less than 35 quid.I’m totally happy and certainly recommend it 👍🏼

Quality fabrics and construction inside and out. Warm and thoroughly rain and wind proof. Secure and dry external pockets and large internal pocket. Size is accurate (I bought one size larger than needed to ensure good sleeve length). Utility garment offers good performance and value. Very satisfied indeed.

I bought this twice on my size and later a larger one so I could put on thick winter jumpers. One thing annoyed me is the lack of a internal pocket. For now it is a 4/5 because of this. Fantastic Jacket, warm and rain proof A good Buy. But internal pockets would make it Brilliant.

My ancient Barbour finally fell apart after too many meetings with bramble bushes, and I wanted a jacket some where between a winter-in-the-mountains duvet jacket, and a fleece top which got saturated after 10 minutes in the rain.Despite being about 15% of the cost of a direct replacement, this jacket fits perfectly, is warm and completely waterproof. It even has side pockets for the hands so that the patch pockets can stay closed.The zip is large and chunky, and while not the brass one I was used to, looks eminently serviceable.

I needed this jacket for walking my dogs out in the countryside. I'm a female, size 14-16 but chose XL so I can layer up on cold days. Im not really bothered about how the coat looks, it just needs to do the job, which it most definitely does. The quilting is a bit thicker than I expected, so I'll probably be too warm in autumn and spring, but that's not an issue.I absolutely love the jacket, its comfortable and actually looks pretty nice. My one very mild complaint is that I'd prefer to have slightly deeper side pockets. If I put the car keys in, then its a bit difficult to fit my whole hand in too, for warmth. I suspect most men will have larger hands than me, unless you're D Trump, so might frustrate them. But other than that, excellent coat. And arrived within 3 days, so much quicker than advertised.

Ordered large and for me this is the correct sizing for large as there is room for extra work wear if needed. I took the risk reading the reviews and things like the zip are good and it has poppers. Use silicone oil on these if they became stiff. The hood is a great and folds up nice for a pocket, but as I work a lot outside I will buy a wide brimmed waxed hat. Overall a really good coat for the money and made in England. Beware I had it a week and popper button fell off, took ages to get a replacement so I have down graded my review to match my experience.

this was a good price, and good value, BUT: two things let it down. One is that it was slightly but only slightly less in measurement; the bigger problem is one that is common with a lot of these jackets: the zip, being plastic tooth and also "storm zip" (two way) can take a remarkably long time to set up to "zip". It requires patience, which is not something you have when it's raining. Therefore I cannot give this garment five stars. Yes it is good, yes it is water resistant but extremely annoying when trying to zip it up.
