excellent book - but american!
I must admit I have not yet tried any of the recipes as it is a birthday present for my husband (!) - but the variety of recipes is excellent and the recipes look simple to follow. The book even has explanations of what to look for in a deep fryer! I have enjoyed just reading it - and my mouth is watering! The only reason it only gets 4 stars is because the book is American so uses measurements in cups so you will need 'cooking' cups to make many of the recipes (mugs or things you drink out of will not work!)and vegetables etc are given their american names (eggplant, zucchini...) - something I had not realised when reading the description of the book.
