With a rental unit exposed to multiple types of people in a resort area you never know what they are capable of doing to your home. These sensors make me feel better about leaving my belongings in closets that can be broken into. Love these sensors!!!! Well worth the money.

Seems like it works well. I bought this to know if the gate is shut. I know it's not rated for outdoors but it doesn't rain much here and I couldn't find something that works outdoors this cheap.I wanted to screw it to the gate. It doesn't come with screws but I had some extra flathead ones. I initially screwed it in the spots it suggested with the premolded screw holes (which I had to drill out). But the very top one on the main body is in a bad spot. Right behind that is the Wi-Fi chip, so even with a flat screw it wouldn't close. So I had to move it lower like you see in the picture. Then it closed tightly. The small magnet side I had to not screw it all the way since it twisted it and I couldn't clip on the magnet anymore. But that wasn't a problem. Range seems good. It's connected to my Google Wi-Fi mesh network and it had no problem reaching to my gate. The app shows the history which is good. However the Google assistant connection you have to click on it in order to see the current status. It doesn't update in the Home app unless you click it.

Ok, this product works as described. I use it to alert me of access to my front door. I'm still trying to decide where is the best place as i have a number of spots id like to monitor, to make sure my little one doesn't go where she shouldn't. Its attached with 2-sided tape so you can move it around first before you settle on a spot. Setup was easy, enter wifi name, password, choose Sensor Wi-Fi, connect in app and you are good to go. U might need to reset, do the 8 seconds hold as i think my 5 secs hold was too short, but it mightve been my wifi info was not correct at first.It alarms (notification) on the app (the phone) when the magnet is disconnected i.e. the door is opened. I would also have liked it to alarm on the Sensor itself, but i guess that improvement will be in the next product upgrade.All in all not a bad sensor, id just want alarm sounds coming from the physical sensor too. It's a get if u want an inconspicuous monitor on a location. Good if you also secretly want to monitor access.

I bought this contact sensor for my man door in my garage. Works flawlessly with Home Assistant and allowed me to create an automation when I enter from the man door, my garage lights turned on. No more banging into things in the dark. Great price too!

The sensor seems to work well, but the app it comes with limits it. You can set it to notify you if the door is open or closed, but you can't set a warning if the door is open for X period of time, or if you leave home and it's open, or anything like that. It also looks like English wasn't the native language of the programmers. Felt a little sketchy giving it access to my wifi network.

These are great I am using it for my safe it gives me an alert anytime I open my safe and I can customize the names so in the case that anyone opens it I will know. Super simple to install I’m definitely gonna need more of these linking it to my phone literally took two minutes it basically does it on his own. Alerts are working perfect The application is user-friendly if you’re looking for a product like this this is the one The eversecu brand has never let me down I love these guys products it’s pretty much the only brand i used when it comes to security for my home and business Highly recommended

Purchased these for my front and back door while alarm was being updated. They work exactly as advertised. Recommend setting them up on the "Guest Account" if you have that ability on your router, as they do call out to China. If you have the ability to block them on your firewall, I advise that as well, though you will not get updates for them if you do.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had the door sensor for about a month. Installation and setup were very simple and took less than ten minutes. I was initially concerned because of the angle of door casing that the distance between the two parts of the sensor would cause problems with the functionality. Thankfully it didn't have any affect whatsoever. The sensor works great! The app is thorough and well-rounded. If you just want to use it as an alarm you can do that. Share and Push Potifications are a great feature. It also works with Alexa and Google Home for even more personalized features. I would definitely recommend this unit if you're in the market for a versatile yet simple door sensor.
