ORS Olive Oil Extra Strength Hair Relaxer

If you are white and have coloured your hair, please do not use this product. I just burnt all my hair off in 3 minutes.... I've also just spent £564 having extensions put in the matted remains... I just wanted non frizzy hair. Bad move. I'm sure it's fine for afro hair though.

DO NOT USE, YIUR HAIR WILL PROBABLY ALL FALL OUT! I have been using this exact relaxer for my daughter every 12 weeks and its has had a great effect and her hair is in perfect condition. HOWEVER this one i bought on amazon I put on my daughters roots for 10 minutes and her hair wiped off like I had used hair removal cream !!!! I hadn't even finished applying the relaxer and by the time i got yo the front all of her hair had fallen out. And she had long thing healthy hair. She now is bald and can't leave the house!! I have been to afro hairdressers and they have told me this product must be fake!!! This is the most traumatic experience for her being 13 and now bald for no reason other than this product!!

Ok so I've been self relaxing since I was 17 (I'm now 30) I've used various products but settled on dark and lovely. They are no longer allowed to sell so thought I'd give this a go.1. This is not a product for Caucasian hair, avoid it, it will destroy your hair. If you have thick frizz crazy hair use the regular for the very minimal amount of time but not this.2. Someone said they used it on eyebrows, please don't do that, this is for afro/black thick head hair.3. In all my years relaxing my hair has NEVER straightened, my hair is thick and very much afro black big hair- if you want straight you need to go professional.4. Relaxing has always done an amazing job at loosening my curls and making it more manageable. Picture shows what it does, bear in my mind you can't see how curly and thick it was before.5. This product is amazing for after quality. It's soft, and feels great not dry and awful which dark and lovely had a tendancy to doI only took a star of because, it dosent straighten they never do, but they state they will... Not true and because the conditioner is orange and my head reeks of oranges... Not a personal fan of orangeFor price, and end result this is a great product and I found my new relaxer

I first tried this extra strength relaxer six weeks ago on my virgin afro hair.I left it in for 10 minutes longer than the recommended time and it still didn't take entirely. As a result I have a mixture of straight and afro hair (straight at the front, mostly afro at the back and ends).I had ordered two packs at the time and finally decided today to give the second one a go.Total waste of time as only roots at the front have straightened despite me applying this to all of my hair, so no huge difference!Annoying as I will have to wait at least a month before trying to relax it again. Not with ORS though.So relieved I didn't lose any hair or suffer burnt scalp.

For the last few years, I've been perming my eyebrows every 2 months. If you have giant thick unruly eyebrows, then perhaps perming is for you. I've tried most eyebrow gels on the market, even hairspray on a mascara wand doesn't do the trick for me. Once the wind blows my brows change direction.I gave this perm kit a go and was unsatisfied by the results. It makes your hairs more brittle than smooth. It started to burn almost instantly after applying. To avoid burning, I prepare my brows like how you would prepare your head hair for a perm. I rub vaseline on and around the brows. I would advise you use Mizani Rhelaxer for £12.99. The tub lasts for 18-24 months at 850g. It gives your eyebrows a beautiful feel and finish! No need to pay £50 a month on brow lamination!

I used this to straighten my beard. I have very think unruly beard and this works like a charm. I had already used guanidine on my hair years ago so I knew that it is very potent and must be used carefully.I mixed everything according to the instructions and applied it to my beard directly, combing it downwards. I left it on for 13 minutes in total while straightening it with the comb.Results are amazing! My beard looks nice and straight now. The down aspect is that it really dries out the hair so it is vital to use the conditioning creams in the box. I also apply coconut oil daily.Since I used only a little bit of the product I just put it in the fridge and kept it for a second application. I was afraid the product would lose its efficiency but nope, worked just as well a month after.So I definitely recommend it for thick beards as well. However, it is important to test it first to avoid allergic reactions as you are applying it directly to your face. I'd also recommend doing it in a well ventilated place because the smell is strong.As I said my beard is very thick and curly and 13 minutes were enough to get the result I wanted.

I am so impressed with the results of this relaxer. I usually get my hair relaxed in a salon which costs me £60+ and I didn’t want to pay that price anymore so I tried DIY with this kit at home. The kit came with more than I expected (shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner). The instructions were so easy to follow. The conditioner and shampoo were quality and so nice and I am going to buy them separately. There was plenty of shampoo but not enough conditioner though. My hair is super smooth and straight, however my hair is quite stiff after this relaxer. Great for DIY.

I am a middle eastern man with curly little soft hair , I have not had a hair cut since March and my hair not that long and not that thick ,I bought this ORS olive oil received on the 27th May thanks to company . I used it straight way and I found really excellent to straight my hair ,I followed the instructions in the box but one mistake I did is running the comb through my hair with the product on and this is wrong , You should use the back of the comb to spread the product on your hair as its very strong product and you should not touch the scalp I got a little burn on the front of my hair but its been 2 days now and is all fine , I was not sure with the result but I should had photo before and after .I really happy with how my hair is soft and straight I hope it will last for long finger cross.
