Does What It's Supposed to Do
It does what it's supposed to do. The cable from the TV to the switch could do with being a little longer to allow for people like me who have a more complicated set-up, but that's not a fault - rather, just an observation, and something for other to think about, because depending on the devices plugged into it, you may have to actually manually switch between them; for example, the Amazon Firestick never really turns off, and so when you "turn it on", it doesn't auto-switch to it from whatever else was on; whereas, if you have, say, a freeview box plugged in (which DOES turn off), it's the signal of it turning on that causes the device to auto-switch. So, I'm guessing that the Firestick doesn't have this signal because it's either on or asleep. But again, not a fault; just know that if you have a Firestick as well as other devices, you will have to - wait for it - WALK to the TV and press a button... in the 21st century. I know, right?! ;)

Great value for money!
As far as value for money goes, this is a great buy. I've found some really good televisions but unfortunately have been limited with HDMI ports - this hub has allowed me to connect a TiVo, Chromecast, WiiU, and Xbox One to my TV with only two HDMI inputs. It has an intelligent switch built into it, this means if the device detects a fresh signal being received it'll switch to that input. For example if the Chromecast is active via the switch and I switch on the Xbox One the input will switch automatically. On devices that provide a feed constantly (Like the Chromecast) I need to press the button to manually put it back, but this isn't a problem with the switch. It has a blue LED that shows which input is selected. The quality of both video via the switch is identical of that through a direct connection to the TV itself.

Cheap price comes at a cost
It does the trick but it comes at a cost (and I'm not talking about the very low price). This connector does allow me to put in two different hdmi cables, PS3 and Xbox 360 and it does automatically switch over from the PS3 in socket 1 to the Xbox 360 in socket 2, however....If I am watching something on the PS3 it seems to check every now and then whether anything else is plugged in and the screen goes black for about 1 second and comes back again... A little bit annoying when something tense is about to happen for it to black out.I've changed it so that I now have my set top box and Xbox 360 plugged in. It works great, however the Xbox does take a long time to power off completely so a manual switch is needed to go back to the set top box quickly

Happy with replacement -Does the job
I was sent a replacement as the original did not work great and great customer service and want you to have great use of the product. The new one works fine with no cutting out. You need to push the button to switch between devices whereas the original would switch when one device was put on standby however maybe that was the issue with the first one I'm not sure. It would be cool if you can switch without pressinv the button as the wire is in an awkward place which is why I wanted it in the first place to prevent taking plugs out all the time.Overall, happy with the replacement.Previous Review before replacement:Cuts out when I switch to my freeview box.Doesn't work great and keeps cutting out every 10 seconds when I switch to use my freeview box so cannot use this cable.

Very easy to use to share screens with my laptops in various combinations. Very pleased.
Bought 3 of these HDMI switches to let me easily share my three 27" computer screens between multiple laptops in various combinations. The three sockets allowed me to use one socket on each switch to connect my screens to a triple monitor Dell USB Hub, and then use the remaining two sockets to attach other video cables that I can use instead of the Dell hub to attach my laptops directly to individual screens in varying combinations.I wasn't sure whether, with all three sockets populated, the switches would automatically use whichever socket was receiving a signal. Happy to say that works perfectly. My PCs with HDMI and DisplayPort sockets work perfectly with these switches. Now connecting my Dell Hub via its single USB cable to a laptop immediately connects all three screens to that laptop. Connecting different laptops directly to the screens via the spare HDMI or DisplayPort cables I attached to sockets 2 & 3 of each switch allowed those laptops to display on one or two different screens depending on which cables I connected. This setup allows me to connect my screens to laptops in any combination. The switches work faultlessley to allow me to share my screens in any combination I want simply by plugging the right cable(s) into my laptop. Response and picture are perfect, regardless of which combination of laptops and displays I'm using. Great experience!

Didn't work initially but got help from seller and working fine now
This doesn't work. Picture was terrible, sound was crackly. Tried connecting it to a few different TV's but no success. Would have returned it except the seller doesn't accept returns.*UPDATE TO REVIEW*Following my initial review above the seller contacted me and gave me some very helpful tips to get this item to work as well as offering to replace or refund me. They had suggested since the switch doesn't have it's own power supply it needs the power supply of all of the items plugged into it to be turned on (I currently have PS3 and an apple TV plugged into mine), which I tried and it now works! Great service and I wish I had contacted the seller in the first place, shame their t's & c's stated no returns or I would have.
