Pretty good
I find it very hard to believe, at this price, that this is not fake, or Tai de cha,(mixed with Bush tea). However, many times tea that is in question of being genuine, is still quite good. Whether it is of questionable manufacture or origin, or even if they snuck some white tea leaves in the disks to fake flavor profiles, still results in a good cup of tea, worthy of sharing with friends and family, because it tastes good. Only time will tell how this tea ages, I got 5 discs. Even steeped briefly at 100degreesC, to test it, it still tastes good. I would buy more to save my other teas from consumption, if it wasn't sold out of 5stacks.

New to Lao Ban Zhang? Try this!
I'm new to Lao Ban Zhang tea, and there is much debate and hype around this type of tea. Lao Ban Zhang is very expensive in general (several hundreds for a cake sometimes). So when I saw this I decided to give it a shot. Is this REALLY lao ban zhang tea? I'm not sure, but according to everything I've learned so far, it certainly checks all the boxes. It tingles the tongue, it has a subtle bitterness, there are other more complex notes of cream and possibly fruits. I even felt a bit of headiness that some have described with regards to the cha qi.I found it very easy to brew gong fu style. So give it a shot!

Tasty aged Zhang Puerh tea
I'm a Puerh tea enthusiast and wanted to try this 2021 Lao Ban Zhang cake. I'm impressed with the quality and taste, especially for the price. This 200g Puerh tea cake is compressed from Lao Ban Zhang leaves grown in Yunnan province. The tea is allowed to oxidize and age naturally, developing a robust, earthy flavor. The dry leaves have a nice variety of dark and light colors. After rinsing and steeping, the liquor is a rich reddish brown. The aroma is woodsy and complex. The tea tastes smooth and full-bodied. There are nice notes of earth, wood, and malt. No bitterness or astringency. The cha qi energy is very noticeable after a few infusions. For an aged raw Puerh, this Lao Ban Zhang cake is very affordable. The tea was well stored and aged and you can taste the quality.I'm impressed with this tea cake, especially considering the price and production year. If you enjoy aged sheng Puerh, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Excellent value for tasty aged Yunnan Puerh.
