Good buy, very happy.
My first impression of this scales is quite good, it feels strong and durable. The manufacturer has made the weight restrictions clear from the very beginning. The scales arrived pre-charged mean I could use them immediately. Operating the scales is very easy, simply place your foot on the scales and it powers on and zero’s automatically. Changing the measurement unit is also simple. While the scales is powered on, turn it over and press the button pictured below. The button states lb/kg/st however the scales does not measure in st.I find the numbers on the scales very easy to ready due to the relatively large screen and back-lit display. I use reading glasses on a daily bases and the screen is very easy for me to read without my glasses. (your vision may vary.)I tried the scales a number of times on two different surfaces, a wood floor and a tiled floor. The readings were consistent on both. The power off the scales simply step off and the scales power off automatically after roughly 10 seconds.A single charge lasted me 6 months of almost daily use and took 30 minutes to charge using a 5V USB plug. The charging cable is a standard Android charging cable. I found the supplied cable a bit short, however a longer version of this cable can be purchased at most pound stores.Speaking of battery life, I like the battery indicator on the display that informs me when the battery needs to be charged.Pros:Big display.Backlit.Auto on/Auto zeroAuto offRechargeable, long lasting batteryStandard android charging cable.Cons:Did not measure ST although the button underneath suggests it does.Overall I am very pleased with the re-chargeable scales and would recommend it. Got progressively worse until useless after seven months
I was really impressed by these scales at first but after a couple of months we had a one random reading... another month went by with two more bad readings... after six-seven months the scales are completely useless.I tried to return them but the Return option is missing so I am guessing it is a six month warranty. When I told the manufacturer they asked me if i was using the scales on a hard surface- I am so that is not the fault

over-sensitive
I found this to be over-sensitive about flooring - it won't give a consistent reading even on my vinyl bathroom floor - fortunately I have stone flags in my hall and it is happy with those. I like the way it flashes to let you know it has made a final decision about my weight, though. (NB maybe they all do that -this my first non-mechanical scales

Superb!!!
The perfect stylish accompaniment to any modern bathroom. Yup, it’s only in lbs and kilos - no stones, but the maths is easy and the accuracy on a level floor is as good as we’ve ever had. Simple, lightweight, backlit and brilliantly styled, we love ‘em!!!!

Really accurate set of scales,would recommend.
Only had these scales for a few weeks but so far I am very impressed with the accuracy of measurement,each time I step on the scales they're exactly correct they do not seem to vary in weight measure compared to scales purchased in the past.Hopefully they will continue giving correct readings.
