Brabantia109942 Sort & Go Waste Bin, Plastic, White, 16 Litre

We decided to get this as we wanted to hide our bin out of sight and under the sink. Obviously, you will need to measure your space first, but for us it is a great size. It is of course a small bin you’re getting, so if you can live with that then it’s perfect. Just for reference, it lasts us easily 3 days’ worth of general rubbish and fits wine bottle etc with ease.It recommends 15-20lt bags, but we use 30lt ones with no issues, they are for some reason cheaper than their smaller friends in our local shops.The bin itself seems well made and study enough to do what we want it for so are very happy with it.Highly recommened.

We got this as it took us too long to fill a large bin and we just ended up having flies everywhere. So we decided to change for a smaller bin (16 litres). We looked at many high tech sort of bins, with sensory opening etc, but they were too expensive so we went for this Brabantia one and, honestly, I’m much happier with this little bin. It’s sturdy, looks nice, feels good quality, easy to change the bag, hangs nicely from a little cabinet door that opens, making it easy and accessible rather than just on the floor. Also good to just remove it, carry it closer to the sink whilst washing and then placing back in the cabinet.Only issue is that we couldn’t get the screws from the hanging piece to fit properly, so the piece swings a bit, but once we perch the bin on it it stays well put so not a huge issue.

A neat small kitchen compost bin! Does the job for the two of us, but if you have a family, would suggest you have something larger. The Brabantia bags for the bin fit beautifully, if a little fiddly to fit!

After having a new kitchen fitted I needed a new bin as my old metal one was dented and seen better days.. It took me a while to decide on this one but so glad I did..it is easy to useholds the bag in well and easy to clean and fits in with its colour and looks a very smart bin compared to the old pedal one I had. I bought this and a largerone for seperate collecting and they sit together really well in their space.

I’ve had a few food collection bins in my time which I use to collect raw fruit and veg waste for my composter. This one seems pretty decent after 3 months of using. Easy to clean and doesn’t stain as it’s black. I keep it in a cupboard so flies aren’t an issue for me. The lid shuts well but isn’t s firm locking lid. One star down due to not having a carbon filter which was handy in some of the others I have had.Did not use the in door mount so can’t comment on that.

I've had this bin for 2 months. It sits on the countertop. I haven't had any issue with smell but I tend to empty it every day. I use the little compost bin bags that you can buy in Aldi and they fit fine. The entire lid comes off so it's easy to put the bag in.
