Great for removing Indian Ink
I recently got back into drawing using dip pens and it's been a task gathering all the materials to make the whole process run smoothly. I use Winsor & Newton Black (water resistant) ink and Higgens Pen Cleaner has been a must for removing the ink from my pen nibs and it also does a dandy job removing any ink that makes it's way onto my drawing board.I use it conjunction with a toothbrush and it works great.

It works pretty well - I usually wash the pen first
This was solid when it arrived, which confused me a bit, but with a bit of shaking it turned liquid. At low room temperatures (~13 C) it will revert to solid, though! It works pretty well - I usually wash the pen first, then use the cleaner and wash it off.

does what is says on the jar.
Had a pen leak, and this cleaned the lid and everything up nicely. You do need to use a cotton bud to get into the awkward grooves, but this stuff loosens everything up nicely.
