Caseology Athlex TPU Case for Google Pixel 7 5G Case, Sandstone Texture (2022) - Active Black

OK this case a little bit bulky but gives a good protection for your phone…it feels like a sandstone which is nice…love the 2 tone colors & buttons are easy to click & responsive…overall love it

This is a really well made case. It certainly feels like you could drop your phone repeatedly and you'd be fine. Good lip for screen protection and the camera is kept away from harm.The colour accent it great - required really so that this doesn't seem too monolithic. The texture is also pleasing to the touch.I actually returned this and went for a cheaper, less protective clear case. I am generally careful with my phone (need to touch wood!!) and felt that being SO well made it detracted from the elegance of the lovely new phone. There's also a double-tap gesture for the back of the Pixel which was hard to do throught the bullet proof case.Gets a 5* review along with "not right for everyone and I was one of those"

In my opinion, compared to more expensive products, this is a sweet spot. It's a nicely manufactured case, and as fussy as I am, I like it lots. I haven't thrown my phone 20 feet into the air to test it, like some adverts would have us believe we do with our phones, but I feel that with the hollowed out buffer corners my mobile could take a drop without damage under normal usage conditions. It fits the Pixel 7 snugly and doesn't feel like it would come off if thrown at a tree. The camera area that normally sticks out on a pixel 7 is protected by a raised shield around it, negating the need for any further lens protection. This is a keeper, nice job Caseology (Spigen)!

This was the third and best of three cases I have purchased for my Pixel 7, all of which are similarly priced (others being Spigen Liquid AIr, Caseology Parallax).- Well made and quality feel.- Cut-outs match the phone well.- Buttons feel responsive.- Space around the USB-C port does not impede charging lead.- Fits snugly and doesn't feel like it would become detached in the event of a drop. I have a spigen glass screen protector which did not impede fit.- Lip on front protects screen when face down on flat surface.- Grip is very good, especially compared to the other cases I have tried. The texture is sightly 'roughed' and is reminiscent of the Sandstone case for the Oneplus 8T (if that helps anyone).- On the rear of the case the colour accents have grown on me, the camera bump protection transitions up nicely and there are some grooves which help with hand positioning and grip.- Not the thinnest case, but I wouldn't class it as chunky.I can't comment fully on the level of drop protection as I haven't dropped it, but it is very similar to the Parallax which I did drop onto a wooden floor from hip height and externally the phone received no damage.If it was slightly thinner it might be perfect, but then maybe protection would be compromised.

Sturdy but add bulk (too much). Surface is gritty (kind like sandpaper but fairly big grains) all over indeed but strangely enough quite slippery ! The sides at the bottom half are quite grippy especially the two (plastic/rubber?) dots on either side. So nice looking and strong case but not for me.

Such a good concept for the case, it's rough and feels super grippy with extra bits where you'd hold it for a call. Feels robust and not too flimsy.Always used otterbox but this feels like a real upgrade from their cases (they don't seem to be making black cases for the pixel 7)Definitely would recommend.
