I was after a pair of old school controllers for retrogaming, and gave these a go. They turned out to be surprisingly sturdy, with decent length cables and very pleasing action. They have worked perfectly with Retroarch and a wide variety of different classic game titles, and very responsive and comfortable to use for extended periods. While there are many more expensive controllers out there with all kinds of bells and whistles, for the price these are excellent value!

Works well and is great gamepad for the price. The direction pad isn't the most fluid to use but is OK.Works first time on Retroarch, already has a config file, so saved on setup time.

Going through a lull with modern day games, I decided to jump back to a simpler time for gaming, but as much as I am an enthusiast, I do admit to not having the required funds to back catalogue entire retro consoles and their cart counterparts. As a result, I delved into the world of emulation, specifically Super Nintendo, or SNES.It was my first and favourite console growing up, to the point that running it's old gems again wasn't quite enough via my XBOX ONE controller. Call me hipster, but you know when these games are designed for a good old fashioned D-Pad, the kind that doesn't make a hammering PC mouse-like click with every press.Enter INNEXT. I searched around for retro style USB controllers and came across their SNES style controllers for the cheap price that it is, especially since the package includes 2 controllers. I was sceptical due to the said price, as I had experience with a similar labelled N64 style controller from RETROLINK, which kid of did the job but felt cheap, and gradually wore down after only a short amount of play time.INNEXT controllers however (atleast the SNES style ones) feel fairly close to the original Nintendo experience. Buttons are responsive on input, the plastic itself is very sturdy and show no signs of lacking structural integrity or giving way over hours of intense gameplay. To back that up, I spent the last week full of down time playing through intense games like STARFOX, R-TYPE III, SUPER MARIO WORLD, DONKEY KONG COUNTRY, CONTRA III, SUPER MARIO KART (both controllers on 2 player) and many more arcade and platform games of that era. Anyone who has had experience with these kinds of games knows how much strain you can put into mashing buttons or gripping the controller and unintentionally trying to tear it like pizza! But it has kept up the pace, even with SNES DOOM ;)I realise that this review took some time to get to the actual product as subject itself, but I felt important to note the desire to go back to older games and to use input that felt authentic, and that you get a fairly close experience to that authenticity at a low price and decent dispatch time. (Side note, bravo on the seller for the quick dispatch, it wasn't expected to arrive for nearly 3 weeks and I got it in 1 week!).I've heard mixed things on INNEXT'S other retro products, like their N64 controller, but I honestly can't comment since I haven't used it myself. So this review is subject only to the SNES style controller/s, which, in a nutshell, if you emulate this era of games via PC or Raspberry/Retro Pi, and want a reliable throw back set of controllers that install their drivers quickly with no fuss and are very easy to map to your liking, I highly recommend as someone who grew up with the original source material.

In general, these work OK, but I've found both controllers have a tendancy to stick, particularly on "down" when traversing retropie menus. In use on games, they seem to be fine, but retropie goes a bit beserk. I suppose this is the authentic 80s joystick experience!

Purchased to use as an alternative to the joystick for the mini and maxi 64 to play games better. Product is well made and looks great in black. Same size as the mini SNES gamepads. They don't work on all c64 games but this is not a reflection on this product. Thank you ☺️

Bought a few over the years for retroPi and Batocera. These are the best so far.

Very disappointed with this product. Didn’t work on either of my Macs. M1 or Intel. Wouldn’t recommend it for Mac users.

Ich habe mir das Gamepad zur Verwendung am C64 Mini gekauft. Der mitgelieferte C64-Mini-Joystick ist ja bekanntlich kein grosser Hit und da kommen diese alternativen Gamepads ins Spiel.Die Verarbeitungqualität ist für die Preisklasse durchaus in Ordnung. Das D-Pad steht schön hoch aus dem Gehäuse heraus und man kann problemlos in schräge Richtungen steuern. Die Tasten funktionieren ebenfalls gut. Die meisten vorinstallierten Spiele lassen sich mit dem Gamepad ganz gut bedienen. Man muss nur herausfinden, welche Taste des C64-Mini-Joysticks mit welcher Taste auf dem Gamepad korrespondiert.Probleme habe ich nur mit dem vorinstallierten Spiel "Cybernoid" gehabt. Bei diesem lässt sich die Waffe des Raumschiffs nicht mit dem Gamepad abfeuern,- das Spiel wird dadurch leider unspielbar. Das ist aber nicht so schlimm. Warum das nicht schlimm ist, erläutere ich gleich.Richtig interessant wird die Sache mit den Gamepads, wenn man eigene Spiele, die z.B. als D64-Images vorliegen, mit dem USB-Loader startet. Dann hat man nämlich die Möglichkeit, jede Taste des Gamepads ganz nach Belieben zu belegen. Dazu muß man nur eine kleine Datei mit der Endung CJM mit auf den USB-Stick speichern. Die Erstellung einer solchen Datei ist sehr einfach. Eine genaue Beschreibung findet man auf der Website des Herstellers "Retro Games Ltd." in der "Support"-Kategorie.Mit diesem Wissen ist es dann auch möglich, ein eigenes Exemplar von "Cybernoid" per USB-Stick zu laden und die Kontrollen so anzupassen, dass es mit dem Gamepad perfekt spielbar wird.Fazit: Der C64 Mini ist eigentlich ein tolles Gerät mit dem sich fast alle Spiele perfekt flüssig am Fernseher spielen lassen. Leider ist der mitgelieferte Joystick eine Pein-im-Hintern und tendiert konstruktionsbedingt, wegen einer zu kurz geratenen Schraube, dazu abzubrechen. Am besten lässt man diese Dinger direkt in der Mülltonne verschwinden und kauft sich stattdessen ein Gamepad wie dieses. Damit ist der C64 Mini richtig gut bedienbar und die Spiele machen so viel Spass wie früher. Oder mehr.

J'avais loupé le 'x2' dans la description et j'ai donc 4 manettes !Pour ce prix, c'est juste parfait. Le fil est un poil court et j'avais déjà prévu des rallonges USB.Les télés étant de plus en plus grandes, on se mets donc logiquement plus loin qu'a la bonne époque des 8bits !Produit plutôt de bonne qualité, taille idéale pour des mains d'enfant de 5-7 ans.Parfaitement reconnues par un RPI 3 avec une recallbox.

Dos mandos estilo SNES de color negro. Vienen perfectamente embalados y guardados en una caja.La calidad de los materiales la esperaba mucho peor. No tienen el tacto ni el peso de los originales, pero si tienen una calidad aceptable.Su funcionalidad es buena, yo principalmente los uso en Raspberry Pi y no me han dado ningún problema en una semana de uso.Su precio es realmente bajo para dos mandos de este estilo, lo cuál lo hace aún mas atractivo.Volvería a comprarlos para un uso básico como pueda ser emular juegos antiguos sin ninguna duda.
