Order 3 of these and could of got by with one on my nomads smoker made out of a old freezer. Very heavy duty.

The battery box on my mobility scooter is held together with eight self tapping screws which are all at different angles and recessed four inches. I had a series of problems which led me to take the box apart at least six times. The last time after i got it all together again and was trying to lower my blood pressure and frustration level with a cold one, I saw the main fuse for the scooter still sitting on my desk right by my beverage I almost threw the whole scooter out the window. I tried other ways to solve this problem before seeing these clamps. I just got these in the mail and even with my arthritic fingers, bad eyes, it only took me half an hour to place these on my battery box. Part of the time was looking for my electric screwdriver, which was on my desk in front on the computer. These were ;the perfect size for this battery box and hold as tight as I wish. They are under no real strain so the only problem they might have is the caustic ocean air here. I recommend them for any light project.
