It Keeps Getting Better and Better ! ! !
My wife and I have been hooked on the Sims so long, we really can't recall what live was like before the Sims (let alone Livin' Large.) A quirky, exciting and addictive game... it just keeps getting more and more quirky and addictive... and everytime the fun starts to wear off, either you can find neat stuff on the website or they come out with exciting expansion packs like this.In a nut shell, in addition to all the added goodies (100+ new items according to the box, but it'll take time to get to all of them) what this expansion back does that makes it really worth while is takes the social interaction and relationship between your players to a whole new level. - - A particular problem we often have with our games that often our Sims are too busy to have social lives... and before the expansion packs, when they'd come over, all they could do was sit around, eat and watch TV (which is what real life guests do anyway) - - with this game, you can throw parties, and everyone in the neighborhood will drop by. Your Sims will tell stories around the camp fire, wip out a guitar and have group sing alongs while roasting marshmellows(the ones you grew up on, but in Sims jibberish and listen to them harmonize with each other), dance (w/ help from a DJ), even eat turkey and fall asleep left and right. - - The Sims expansion also will not only enhance your players social life (making both their life and your games more exciting) but will also boost fun level, charisma and more.In summary, the Living Large expansion pack took the Sims to a whole new level of fun and reality... this pack does it again, and I'm sure more surprizes are to yet to come... ! ! ! (By the way, does anybody use the Sims Art Studio... is it just me... I've yet to put up a picture my Sims don't boo at ???)

I bought this for my daughter
I bought this for my adult daughter. She collects them all and loves them. I have no opinion because I do not use them.

sims house party ....
this expansion pack [is really bad]! the livin large one was great but this one has nothing more than music and food. the dancers u can higher dont take off NONE of their clothes and u cant higher more than one entertainer at a time. the things that ARE good in this game are a birthday cake, punkin and the campfire.and also the all girl and all boy bathroom. once u buy the birthday cake, you are already starting a birthday party, u can choose who's birthday it is that day. this expansion pack doesnt come with the vibromatic heart bed either. when u get the sims house party you will feel like you are playing the original sims.

A Must Have!
Even if you don't want to throw a party, this expansion pack is a must have. There are more objects and more skins. Now you'll find that the option to "talk" always pops up in your Sim interactions. When you command your Sims to spray roaches, it stays in queue with other commands even if it isn't the first in line. Changing clothes is quicker than ever. When you send them to a dresser, the game pauses and a window opens to give you the option to accept an outfit or see the next. This is a big improvement over your Sims spinning themselves to death until you find the outfit you want to keep. There are only a couple of downsides to the game. There are now small swarms of flies floating about the house for no reason. There are no interactions available for them and even the maid doesn't get rid of them. Thankfully, they are very small. The only other downside is that when you do throw a party, the game slows down considerably. This is due to the fact that practically everyone in the neighborhood drops by at some time or another. The game moves so jerkily that your Sims are difficult to locate and control.Still the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. House Party is a good addition and necessary for any serious Simmer.

a must have for sim collectors =]
The Sims House Party Expansion Pack is a must have for Sims Collectors. It adds tons of new interactions to the game. Here are some awesome things about House Party+ Throwing the party of the year is only a simple phone call away.+ You can hire a caterer who will mingle with your guests, refill the buffet table and punch bowl, and clean up after your garbage for the whole day.+ Your Sims have new ways to entertain yourself with such objects such as the bubble blower (seats four), sing songs and roast marshmellows (an adorable sight, really) with the campfire (seats 8), play a huge game of Charades with an unlimited amount of people, and more!+ Have the Sims dress up from the Costume chest from Togas to Beachwear, it has it all!!!+ Host a slammin` dance, DJ booth and flashing floors, even the cages! *wink wink...If you have a party that's not very bumpin` the mime will come and bring down your party even more. He will try and try to entertain your guests (and fail time after time). If you have a pretty good party, party crashers will come and eat your food and break items around the house... but if you have a truly awesome party a celebrity guest will come in a limo and have the guests chatter the night away!!!Here are some simple tips to throw a successful party:- Keep Bathrooms in strategic locations and keep the stalls near the door, Sims use their hearing to locate things. Take the doors off your house bathrooms so not everyone crowds around the one toilet hushing everyone out.- Try to keep every Sim in the house happy. Your goal is to have every guest with green bars. After everyone's eaten and relieved themselves, split up your family members and put them in charge of 5-6 guests with a different game (ie) 2 on the Bull, 3 on the dance foor, 4 blowing bubbles... everyone else on charades, etc.Happy Simming. :)
