I bought this for my husband for our 14th wedding anniversary. As ivory is one of the traditional symbols and I would never want ivory for very obvious reasons. However I thought that I would love to honour the beautiful elephants. So I came across this beautiful carved soap stone ornament. When it is lit up by the tea light it shines the majestic elephant upon the wall and ceiling. It is beautifully carved and intricate in one piece that sits over the tea light,which sits on a simple base. It is in my opinion a beautiful little piece that will fit in any home. The craftsmanship is fantastic too. It is also very good value for money. For me it symbolises much more than the 14 years my husband and I have been married as I mentioned earlier. My husband loves his gift, I believe it will make a beautiful little gift for more or less anyone else. 😊

This was a 14th anniversary present for my eldest son and his wife. I couldn’t afford ivory and I thought this was a better alternative. The carved elephants ensured they would remember which anniversary it was for in the future. They are delighted with it and it creates lovely patterns on the walls when lit.
